Or maybe play at Pope. Turf field
-
I can see it now. Saturday play day at Liberty Creek and Station Camp. Games starting at 9am and playing all day if needed

Big question mark for Hville are the offensive and defensive lines. Preseason has been up and down.
-
First team went down and scored. Stopped ER twice. That was it for the starters. 2nd team went down and scored. 3rd teamers played the rest of the way. Overall ran the ball well, had a few penalties which we didn’t need. Ok performance.

Gallatin O has a much better chance of success this year if Hendersonville can't stack the box like the past without regretting it getting burnt.
Obviously, the Wave will have to keep Baker "at bay".
Agreed, Commandos will have to tackle well. Wave offense is similar to Mt Juliet, big tall strong armed QB, very good RB and a lot of speed on the outside.

I saw them with Coker and Brown. I remember when they had a good run.
Brown had about a million yards against Hville. They also Terrance Davis at QB. Impossible to tackle.

First thing, glad no one was injured in “ bleachergate” at Beech. Plenty to say about Sumner County BOE later. On to football. Both Gallatin and Hville have had similar preseasons, some good, some not so good. Both are good football teams. All boils down to execution Friday night. Commandos cannot allow the Wave to get Brinkley going. Couple that with the throw game with Stroup makes them a dangerous team. Important for the Commandos to get the Wing T going early. You will see probably 6 to 7 running backs in the game. Baker has been good in the preseason, need a consistent performance from him. I expect a high scoring game at the Waveyard Friday night. Looking forward to seeing my buddy GREENWAVE84EG and seeing my granddaughter perform with the Wavettes.

That was Glen Seabrooks, a Vandy commit. Walked by him before their game, big dude.

Beech wins 28-10
-
Saw both teams play last night. Springfield’s quickness will be too much, they win 28-7.

The visiting side is very close to being finished and should be in full operation by next Friday night.
Make sure you have my seat ready. Also will need 2 cheeseburgers fully loaded.

Not as concerned as just curious. Lebanon is the big ??. They lost a lot off of last years squad but Gentry is a good coach. Not hearing anything g special about Wilson Central but they always have some fight in them.
It’s Mt Juliet and Gallatin for 1st. Lebanon a distant 3rd and then the rest. Not a great region once you get past the top 2.

I've already told you this but congrats to both of you on your retirements. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the opener next Friday, and continuing our tradition over the last 13-14 or so years of meeting on the field post game, no matter who wins.
Looking forward to it my friend. Little added bonus this year is my granddaughter’s dance team will be performing at the Wave Yard that night.

As far as the region goes Beech and HC will be the favorites. Hville has a ways to go to be competitive with those 2 teams. Springfield has a lot of youth but their excellent coaching staff will get them up to par quickly.

First time posting in quite a while. Both myself and Ms Mondo have retired in the past 12 months, Ms Mondo after 38 years at HHS. We have been busy traveling and doing a lot of grandkid things. Been to 8 or 9 practices and both scrimmages. Commandos are a work in progress. Need improvement in a lot of areas especially at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Currently having a few injury issues but I am sure a lot of teams are. Scrimmaged Mt Juliet and Blackman who will both be preseason top 10 in 6-A. Both of them have very good teams, good QB’s, backs, and receivers. Also several D linemen who will be playing on Saturdays in the future. Looking forward to the jamboree Friday against ER. I suspect starters will go 1 maybe 2 series and then everyone else will play.

Made official yesterday, Chris Bain named HC. One of favorite people in the coaching ranks from his days at Hville. Good luck coach!

Assistant coach Chris Bain is the leading candidate to be the new HC
-
Imo he will be a receiver at the next level. All of the ratings show him as an athlete. Has the measurables, 6-2 with a lot of speed. Gallatin folks have spoken about his attitude, etc.
-
On a Gallatin related subject congrats to Jordan Ponchez Mason on his first NFL TD today against the Raiders. Good young man!

Just approved by the TSSAA

Good luck in the playoffs against RUCO. Oakland and Blackman are waiting. You will find that they are slightly better than your cupcakes.
-
Let’s see, if MJ plays Oakland they lose, if they play Baylor they lose, if they play Ravenwood they lose. Season doesn’t look so good. Won’t play HHS, won’t play Beech, Why is TP scared of playing anybody? Congrats on your first region title in 4 years, we have 3 during that time period and beat you guys twice and we don’t dodge anybody. Scheduling 2 teams that didn’t win a game last year is laughable. Cupcake city!
-
At least 9 wins if the bus doesn’t break down. Non region TP scheduled Franklin 0-10 this year, Antioch 0-10 this year, Hunters Lane 3-7 this year. They did schedule Cane Ridge who loses almost everybody. I guess they couldn’t schedule Republic.

May not be optional. I Don’t want to play 10 road games. If we have to play at SC or LC don’t like it but will do it if needed
