Today is the day Panthers. Let’s bring that gold ball back to Decatur County!
-
One more thing for the Gallatin folks, since you guys control the school board if Hville needs anything do we contact you, lol

I agree with my friend GREENWAVE84EG. Lot of fiction on this thread. I thought the the topic was Gallatin’s football coach resigning and who might be next in line. It’s turned into several programs being slandered, kids academics being put into question, and just some out and out lies. At the end of the day it’s Dr. Becker’s call and he may or may not involve others. As far as Gallatin’s athletic programs they have a very good boy’s BB Coach in Luna, a very good girls BB coach in Parker, solid baseball program with Mark Wilson who tied for the district championship last year, up and coming softball program with Coach Raper and a state tournament girls soccer team with Coach Harper. Once again slandering a program whether it be Gallatin, Hville, Beech, or SC is wrong.

Since they are close to the program would be interested in the opinions of GWave1, thegreatone36, wave88, and GREENWAVE84EG. They would know more than any of us.

Just saw it on Main Street Preps. Heard about it a little while ago.

Way to go Panthers! Getting a little dusty in here

Beech 31-7

Beech too physical, they win 28-14

Only 219 miles. We went to Arlington for a 1st round game in 2013. Distance 204 miles.

5-A Region 7
Henry Co
Springfield
Portland
Beech
Hville
Hunters Lane
Nothing like driving 200 miles to Memphis for a playoff game. Thanks TSSAA

Smyrna is very quick on defense, not very big. Beech will lean on them between the tackles and win 31-7
-
EG, sounds like you need to call your 2 friends at the central office and get this done.

Agree with Eers on this. Don’t have a problem with the Sumner County schools. I respect the schedules that Gallatin and Beech played this year. I have a major problem with the Wilson County schools. Coaches now are more concerned with “my record” and keeping their job above everything else. Most fanbases would rather you go 8-2 with a cream puff schedule than play a tough schedule and go 5-5. I guess gate doesn’t matter. I can’t imagine not playing Beech and Gallatin. If our friends at the Sumner Co. BOE would move about 100 students from Gallatin to SC problem would be at least partially solved. 5 Sumner County schools in the same region.

Just released by TSSAA. Kenwood, NW, and Dickson County all are moving up to 6A
-
Beech by 17 over Brentwood
Gallatin by 10 over Lebanon
Springfield by 7 over Portland
Green Hill by 10 over Station Camp
Oakland by a lot over LCCC
Hville vs Rossview- Commandos hit hard by injuries last couple of weeks. Playing a lot of backups tonight. Need to come ready to play

Beech by 17

Here are the official tiebreakers from TSSAA
1. Head to head
2. The team with the greatest number of victories overall
3. The team who plays the greatest number of teams who win 50% or more of their games
4. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50% or more of their games
5. The team whose opponents have earned the most victories.
6. The team whose opponents have received fewer defeats.
7. Coin flip

1st tiebreaker- head to head
2nd tiebreaker- overall record
There are others but unless Nolensville or Page loses this week the standings will stay the same regardless of your game with Nolensville. You would have 2 losses while Page and Nolensville (assuming you beat them ) would have 1. Nolensville would then have the head to head advantage over Page. The standings would be the same as today. You need Page and Nolensville to both lose this week for the rest of the tiebreakers to come into play.

Don’t want to be in Region 7 and have to go to Memphis for a playoff game.

They'll most likely leave regions 1 (6 teams) and 2 (6 teams) in the east, and 8 (8 teams) in the west, exactly the same, they are the same exact 20 schools currently in those regions. That's going to leave 5 middle regions again for 29 schools (Mondo you left off West Creek). I'm putting my guess together and will post soon.
Good catch EG

Questions that need to be answered:
Does Rhea County and/or McMinn County play with Knoxville or Chattanooga?
Does Tullahoma and/or Franklin County go with Region 4 (Chattanooga) or Region 5? This balances Regions 1-4 and 5-8.
Does Henry County go to Memphis or with more traditional foes?

What a joke! In addition to the yardage Dowell had 40 TD’s versus 23 for Bishop. Nothing against Bishop , Dowell had a better season. Example of a city kid versus a kid from a rural area.
