It’s as if Hendersonville has had our number or something lol…. Pretty sure the series in the past 12-14 years is even if not MJ in the lead. I don’t really care to check.

Overall series favors Hville 27-22-1.  Since 2001 it is 6-6.  Once again congrats on winning your first region title since 2018.  Good luck in 6-A next year.

Don’t forget Hville needs that pat on the back for playing such a tough schedule…. But going 5-5 lol

Thanks and congrats on your first region title since 2018.  Good luck against Republic this week.  They have scored 12 points and given up 297 on the year.  Also good luck in 6-A next year.

After a lot of thought on this subject, I would like to concede the concession stand battle.  Gallatin’s is not bad by far, in fact it is really good, but the dipping dots put Beech’s over the top.  I would like to add that special consideration should be given to Hendersonville due to Jeff Jarrett, former Heavyweight Champion, cooking the burgers.

Double J is a talented burger guy.  Gallatin concession stand, pizza is good, cheeseburgers are really good. That guy that sells programs on the visitor side, pretty good dude . Wife’s favorite concession stand is Siegel due to the Kettle corn.  Indy comes in 2nd due to Kettle corn.

Have some players out yes on defense. Struggling big time in the secondary and overall with penalties.  Mack bailed us Friday night with 298 yds on 22 carries and 5 TD’s. He is close to 1200 yards on the season.  Doesn’t help that we play unbeaten 2nd ranked Baylor this Friday night.  Probably will get our soph QB back this week. Broke his ankle against Beech. This will enable Baker to play some on defense in addition to QB.  Couldn’t risk it the last 3 or 4 weeks.

Also we only returned 5 starters from last year.  Younger players have got to suck it up and come ready to play.  Future looks good as the freshman team went 6-1, only losing to Beech.

Ok, serious question on this front… Does Hendersonville have some players out or something? They’re obviously not as good as last year (I thought that was possibly the best HHS team in the last 15 years), but the last two weeks we’re head scratchers. I’m not asking to try to take jabs, I’m seriously puzzled.

We’re not bothered by Hville. You need to seriously worry about the state of your team right now. You didn’t answer the bell in the other thread when I asked a question so I’ll say it out loud again for you. HOW DID YOU BARELY BEAT A ABYSMAL SHELBYVILLE TEAM AND LOSE CLARKSVILLE?

Try answering that without a major “MJ is a scared terrible team” diversion.

    ok go.

Not as good as we were last year honestly.  After 3 straight region titles we have taken a step back this year. Wished we could play Republic and Warren County instead of Oakland and Baylor.  Good luck to you guys in 6-A next year.

  7. All 3 of the 5-A schools in Wilson County will go to 6-A.  Probably will have WC, Leb, MJ, GH and Gallatin in the same region.  I suspect Beech and Hville will be grouped with Portland and several Metro schools.  Looks like Centennial will move down unless they choose to play up.  Also moving to 6-A will be Southwind out of Shelby County and the new school in East TN West Ridge.

  8. Big challenge for the Commandos this week as they continue against the toughest schedule in the state.  Parson along with Marcel Reed of MBA are the 2 best QB’s in the state.  Need to possess the ball and keep it away from the Raptors.  The cool thing for our players is to play against great competition and great players every week. We don’t hide from anybody unlike some of the schools  in that county across the lake.  Go Commandos!

Great win for the Commandos tonight!  Offensive and defensive lines played their best game of the season.  Stevin Mack had 23 carries for 246 yards and about a million broken tackles.  Great plan by the coaches and great execution by the players.

Should have mentioned the defense from last night.   Commandos held Brinkley to 63 yds on 16 carries and Merriwether to 35 yds on 8 carries.  Overall Gallatin had 139 yds to Hville’s 328.  Good win!

  10. Big game this week between the Green Wave and the Commandos at Memorial Stadium/Paul Decker Field.  From the Commandos view they have to play much better at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball to be in this one.  Gallatin has 2 elite RB’s who can break the big one at any time.  Looking forward to the game and seeing my good buddy GREENWAVE84EG.

I too have heard the 14 points better than Gallatin statement as well.  Station Camp got embarrassed last week with Dowell running all over them and Gallatin moved the ball everywhere but in the red zone against a team that most thought would be an easy win.  Both will be better prepared this week for the Mayor’s Cup.  There is no love loss in this matchup.  Brent has improved SC since taking over the program which had been really bad.  Gallatin felt the sting of losing last year.  Should be a big crowd if the weather holds off.

Wave win pretty easily. Something like 35-17
