Straight pass coverage is respectable. Play action tends to bite us from time to time.

Correct, but if you don’t sale out on the run you ain’t stopping Ben. We were just missing being able to capitalize on that early on. To me that’s the key for us.

We were 1 dimensional most of the season, however we turned the corner and got our pass game going against Wayne County and Huntland. Our QB was out for the Eagleville game but will back for this game. He and the receivers were getting on a heck of roll to compliment the run, hopefully they pick up where they left off! We will need all aspects to be on point for us to have a chance to win.

Cornersville has the capability to win this game. I know we are the heavy underdog.  We have seen awesome play in all aspects of the game from these boys. We just need to put it all together and be firing on all cylinders. We have yet to hit the full potential of this team.

Agree and did not do that. There are a whole host of reasons for loosing, I could spout off about 6 without stuttering.  I simply stated we know them. Eagleville played a great game, not taking anything away from them. We beat ourselves last night.

Ben rushed 300 on 28 carries  (unofficial).  Broke the 2000 yard mark. Congrats!

Cornersville fans know why we lost that game.

Hopefully we can contain him! We typically do a pretty good job on containment, and typically have held up well against these pro style offenses. (Disregarding the MC game of course). However, Cannon County figured us out and darn near came back on us.

our passing will have to be respected and you can’t just sell out on the run since we have gotten it going the past couple games

Was watching some of the Eagleville highlights, not happy 11 is hurt but sure am glad we don’t have to face him! He throws a precise deep ball. Looks like 2 can still get it done and is more dangerous than 11 taking off with the ball.

If you review the post, the 3 of us gentleman were having some nice easy going chats this morning about our teams. While you did not ask for my opinion, you did refer to me as I was part of those conversations when (in bold below) you mentioned "these guys" as well as "ya'll know nothing about football." Additionally, it is a public forum and as much as you are welcome to voice you opinion about our football knowledge, I too carry the same rights and can discuss your posts. Since you seem to only post on Cornersville boards then I am sure we will cross paths again!  Anyway, what are thoughts on this game?

Is Eagleville full strength? I know we will have 2 out due to ejections last game.
