As a neutral party, great game! Glad I got to watch it! My two take ways were 1. Dawson was definitely affected by the injury and not the same player we have seen all year. 2. McKenzie played far more physical than when we played them in the first round. Why are LC fans on here talking crazy like they won? I’m confused? What was their record and how many playoff games did they have this year? Hats off McKenzie! I was pulling for MC but you guys earned it!

Hope y’all’s hire is a good one! I hope you guys don’t have to go thru the hiring fiasco and flop before finally getting it right like we did over here!

Those touting McKenzie's win over Collinwood, c'mon, we all saw the demeaner of that team changed when they carted their player off the field. The game was over at that point. Anything can happen, but after seeing Cornersville play both teams, I still think MC comes out on top 35-14. Yes it will be their toughest game of the season. Yes, McKenzie is a darn good team and are well coached. Both teams have playmakers all over the field. What will be the difference in this game is not going to be the coaches calling the plays. Its going to come down to the players on the field. What makes MC such a wrecking ball is when the play called breaks down, that is when they are at their best. When it turns into backyard football, they make unbelievable plays. Yes it can be unorthodox. While McKenzie's QB may be "better" by QB standards for recruits at the next level, what Dawson can and will do now, at this level, making plays is going to be difference. The rest of the team knows this as well and they all keep working until the play is over. He and 23 are far more elusive than any player McKenzie has.

Mc35-14. Gonna have to try and catch this one live. 2 good teams going to battle it out. Outcome is anyones guess!

They are not a joke and are a great team. Y’all beat us and we played them tighter. MC dominated both of us. I just can’t see McKenzie beating them. To the other teams my apologies. I jumped ahead and really know nothing about Dresden and Sc. I am sure they are great as well. It’s just a gut felling that these two teams are destined for each other(mc and south Pitt) , and what game it will be. If it’s someone else then I am sure it will be an even better game! 1A wins regardless. It’s shaping up to be an entertaining run to the finish line! Best of luck to all!

Best comment of the year! You guys have had a great season and dominated the region. Go get your gold ball! Having played both and seeing you both in action, y’all are too much for McKenzie to handle. Winning that one 35-14. keep your head high Eagleville!

Good luck to both teams tonight! I think in the end MC wins this one on their way to state this year. I will say though that Eagleville probably matches up against them better than anyone else in our region. Hoping for great close game and none of this mercy rule stuff!

If we could have gotten 3 dropped interceptions, the blatant fumble they didn’t give us, could have been a different story. Played them hard and had a chance going into half down by one touchdown. They adjusted well at half time and shut us down the second half and made some offensive adjustments to attack some openings they didn’t take advantage of in the first half. Proud of what we did, in the end just wasn’t enough. Great season overall and the coaches and players deserve all the credit turning around the failed season of last year!

Anyone know why the McKenzie/Cornersville game is not listed as an on demand game on NFHS? Seems like every game can be rewatched except this one?
