  1. I stood upon a fence post near the hallowed TC practice grounds this week. I gandered upon likely the most dysfunctional array of coaching my 4 eyes have seen this century. As I peered through the vents of the fence, mediocrity seemed the accepted habit forming. One bright spot, the new construction is coming in nicely, even if it leaves the jackets with a field the size of foodland’s grassy knoll. Odd direction we are heading. If TC’s moral compass keeps pointing due west, it’s doomed.

From what I saw last year, there wasn’t a single kid on that team that could play on a real good team. If he ran a kid off, it’s probably because he wasn’t buying in to what Gregory is trying to build. And when your 0-10 the culture your building is drastically more important than catering to a specific player…who probably wasn’t that good to begin with. Noah Cook for example started for TC his sophomore and junior year…transferred to ER for his senior year and wouldn’t have even been a starter.

From what I've heard, it's an upcoming freshman. People in TC are starting to lose hope. If you can't keep athletes, then that's a problem, and that starts with your own DC/local "pastor" letting their kid transfer to a rival school and getting away with it.

  3. Are the winds of traditional Trousdale County a-blowing?? Rumor has it, the eldest Satterfield son was seen touring the high school this morning, glaring through the trophy case at the past... when alas.. he sees an empty spot next to the 2013 trophy!! He then took a tour down by the field to oversee construction of our new field house. I have it on good authority, he was very interested in the fate of the future of the lost jackets... hope arises again in the form of a Satterfield savior.

Nobody wants to see them good again. its been enjoyable watching them take some beatings for once but sadly it wont last unless they have a coach that runs off all of the athletes

Big Coach Gregory guy here, but his recent hire of a Macon County player's dad has me questioning him. There are reports that several players have quit because of him.
