Oh WOW so Millington did come back within 1 after being down 27-0. I don't think Haywood's  QB going out had anything to do with that. That game probably got pretty exciting in the 2nd half.

Yes it did because the coach didn't put the back up end until the fourth and haywood scored time he put him end. The score at half was 27-12 QB got hurt in the second quarter haywood ran the wild cat the rest of the quarter and all of the third and one player broke his leg in the third. The ball got snapped over the punter head and went in the end zone he ran it out and got tackle at 3 yards line then millington scored then they went for it on four and ten at their own 30 running the wild cat the rb tried to pitch the ball back but no one was there but the defense and they picked it up and scored. Then he put the back up end,the beginning of the fourth quarter and they scored three times in a row. Had he put the back up end the game would have been put away in the third

I noticed that Millington pulled within 1 point early in the 4th 26-27. So did Haywood really blow a 27 point lead or are we just not going to talk about that part. LOL  I'm guessing  that was a misprint I seen.

QB got hurt and the coach didn't put the back up end until it was a one point game in the fourth quarter. Ran the wild cat the last few minutes of the second quarter and the whole third quarter.

Of course they stepped up because they won the game but it was a missed score in the red zone before that kept us winning that ball game I’m saying the 2 teams munford and melrose that would be similar to Haywood millington got dominated, and this year Haywood is very beatable its showed all year they’ve struggled a lot.

This is the year teams need to try and be Haywood, because they are young freshman and and sophomore starting with some junior not too many seniors. That's why the game was closed that why they struggled for a while. It been like that all season. But next year I feel sorry for teams.

I heard the end of the Haywood radio broadcast of the game. Congrats to the Tomcats. I heard they finished up with a running back playing QB? What happened to your QB? Injured? What about next week?

No he's Young. He is still learning

Didn't seem to make adjustments at any point of the game just kept letting the qb and rb have a field day

The  coach doesn't have his staff this year The DC and OC and QB coach will  be on the staff next year his son will be there DC next year he stated that to me a couple of weeks before the season

They don't play all the starters. They play some of them but not all because they don't want them to get hurt. Some of the 2nd string  played because they are in the rotation. Why risk your best player to injury for a Jamboree

When my son played he sat out of the Jamboree his last year,my nephew playing with them this year he sat out. Everyone doesn't sat out.

Suuuuuure they don’t. You don’t have to make stuff up because they got whipped like a barrowed mule. I get it, they drive all the way to Paris just to see how good the 2nd and 3rd string players were.

Don't let this nut job bait you...that was just a backhanded attempt to antagonize the Anderson County following. Everyone knows the Mavericks are heavy favorites to represent the east in Chattanooga.

What bait I won't to know who  AC is playing in the semi,I didn't know. So when I heard it was red band, had to check them out

It could be. I haven’t seen Pearl in a few  years since they moved up to 4A but I know they always have plenty of athletes. I think this one will come down to coaching and Smith and his staff is pretty dang good!
