south doyle and lenoir city both have had their fair share of ups and downs this season. south doyle took the first game between these two teams but lenoir city has improved greatly, winning vs farragut. this well be a key matchup in the district with both teams needing a win to stay in the race.

I think i know a few more than just 5 place holders. Randy Steinly for gibbs is incredible. Halls' nicholas shafer is absolutely amazing! He's done things i didnt think could be done. Bearden's Earl Holloway was extremely impressive the other night against farragut. I mean...did you see how he held those balls? Patrick Belastacio of CAK can really get that ball on that block...and i mean... he can do it fast. Peter Spitz of Maryville i think holds the record even still for fastest hands to balls action. If im not mistaken, it was roughly 0.87 sec. DANG! Phil McJohnson pleases kickers all around. Those laces are straight and perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Now...when you say things like who cares about holders?think again...cause these people are goin somewhere. thanks for your time.

Why is South Doyle so bad? It seems like a simple question...and it has a simple answer....all of their athletes play other sports. If you take all the baseball players, soccer players, basketball players, and a few cross country runners, you could put a team together that could beat the actual SD team. So why do these athletes not play football? Because of the coaches. Mainly..."the coach" We all know who I'm talking about. Not all the coaches are bad, we really like Spradlen, Corum, and Knapp, but the head coach is an idiot. He has no clue how to run a high school football program. If he would actually coach and get his lips off of Duncan's rear and quit whining to all the officials about missed calls, then they might win a game. And who are they kidding? All I hear is SD is gonna win this game or that game, what game are they talking about? The only slight chance is Clinton. Every year all we hear is how they are going to turn it around and it never happens. If you want to turn it around....GET YOUR ATHLETES ON THE FIELD AND OUT OF THE STANDS!!!!

Hey why dont you GET this RIGHT sniotch! I am from south Doyle and not all of their programs stink. Baseball has been at the top the past two years and will be there for the next two. Soccer is also not too bad, and if they can get a decent coach, they will win quite a few games. So before you talk that trash, know what you're talking about hoe.

SD and Faragut were in a pitching duel. Neither team did to much damage. McClain pitched a gem making only one mistake giving up a homerun, other than that he was untouchable. Down early, SD scored 1 in the 2nd after Eric Conley walked Wes Cobb hit a 1b and Joe Brent picked up the RBI. In about the fifth SD struck big after Faragut kicked the ball a bit Cody Hawn was intentionaly walked, and Craig Smith ripped a base hit. Sd got 3 that inning. The score held 4,2 when Ryan Holland picked up the save. GAMEOVER.

South Doyle is sophmore loaded, Cody Hawn, Ryan Holland, Eric Conley, Matt Roberts, and Bryce Brents all played some varsity their freshmen year. 3 more youngsters are Chris Terpan, Jacob Fowler, and Chad Bell. A pretty impresive sophmore class.

South Doyle was prepared today, we faced Collierville today.McClain pitched pretty good but not his best he did hold us in there for i think 4 innings. They struck first but the bottom of our line up got the job done early with 2 in scoring position Matt Roberts got a ground ball RBI, and Wes Cobb got a 1B RBI. Dustin Moneymaker pitched EXCELLENT in relief and in the 8th Chad Zurcher roped a double D. Moneymaker got him over, Cody Hawn(already 2 for 3) was walked, and Craig Smith got down a suicide squeeze with a 2,2 count. GAMEOVER.
