Let's talk about it.  Morgan County has open zones.  I am sure that "your school" has been the recipient of a few good athletes in recent memory.  Is that recruiting?  Or is that politics?

    Think about it!

Doesn't matter if its open or not TSSAA says otherwise.

  2. Do we want to speak about the kid that is playing basketball for Coalfields Middle school program who played for sunbright last year and during the summer this past summer. Yet his family is still living in the same residence. No one will report coalfield from Morgan County because of retaliation of Mr Treece which is just plain sad.

Agreed. I know they have a QB and a WR that got some awards last year but I'm not buying into Wartburg. I actually think they will finish last in the division this year. Coalfield will have some first game mistakes early but I think they will dominate the second half.

I disagree. Wartburg is better then what people think they are.

You obviously haven't watched anything and are the typical Coalfield delusional fan. You guys do nothing but hate anything that challenges you. I heard you guys were scared of RHS coming to town.

RHS will do its talking on the field not on here neither will the fans. Good luck to the indians and good luck to Coalfield better not sleep on Wartburg.

You could be correct.EVERYTIME I think Rockwoodis down they come out strong.Alot of great athletes in that town.CF will still be one of the top teams.

I agree that you can’t count them out especially as long as Webb is coaching.

Rockwood lost everyone and their upcoming senior class isn't great. Will be interesting to see if they can reload though. Coalfield has the best "program" in that area. Elite coaching. Great support. Good athletes.  Just teeny tiny enrollment. And they are losing some great athletes. Will be fun to see how that region shakes out.

Rockwood lost a lot and so did coalfield. I was told they have a lot of their skill players returning. It all depends if someone got transfers in or if the incoming freshmen can produce. OS has a lot returning and a lot of talent.

Bottom line is Ryan was the most qualified by a country mile but a couple of Loudon County Good Ole Boy's saw to it that he didn't get his old job back for what reason I don't know. The man should have been hired on the spot, that's who most of the fans wanted to see get it. I guess it's better to be hired then fired then hired back at a Loudon County School as to go to a better paying job and come back and try to be rehired. Don't really think the way they went about it was right either after the first coach resigned. The leaders that went this way should have really looked hard at the two S*** Holes to the north of them WB and to the south of them Sequoyah and come to a conclusion if a questionable hire is made we could turn Greenback into one of those two places. You pizz off enough parents you may be playing with a 16 man football team if your lucky.

If I was Ryan I wouldn’t touch GB with a ten foot pole by the way the fans act. You’ve all made yourself the laughing stock of high school football. You’ve killed the athletics for GB congratulations!

  8. Why not just give the guy a chance? He has to have something to offer maybe played college somewhere? This is supposed to be for kids not what you think is right. High school football is more than wins and losses you create men that go on to be a productive member of society. He obviously is good with kids coming from rec league. Give him a year see if he can win some games and be competitive in the ones he even loses.

  9. Coalfield lost a lot didn’t they? I am wondering how Rockwood will fair in the region. Last year they had no issues with a lot of teams then struggled with some. They lost a few players, but I have heard they got a few transfers in!
