  1. Southwind's QB will be too much for Henry County defense. He's one of the best QB's in the state and i believe he is only a Sophmore. I believe SW defense will shut down HC offense this will be HC biggest test up front they have seen all year. This game will be close early, but has the potential to get ugly by the end of it. SW gets the big win over HC.

Springfield has zero wins against teams with a winning record according to unapproved website. Southwind only has 2 wins against teams with an above .500 record (Munford & Melrose) both are solid teams. Southwind's Dline could arguably be one of the best in the state, with 1 of them being a Memphis commit. Southwind's QB plays well above his age, if SW defense shows up like they have all year I believe Southwind has the potential to win convincingly. Not counting out Springfield by any means, but In my opinion Southwind is the much better team in this matchup.

My prediction was right... SW with the huge win!

  3. CC was up 14-0 end of the first quarter, and i'm assuming Haywood held Crockett to 3 FG for the rest of the game for a 28-23 Haywood win. Sounds more like Haywood came out flat and let Crockett get up early before their defense woke up and did not let Crockett in the end zone the rest of the night. No matter who wins this game, all roads leads to Brownsville.

Maybe since Springfield is so undersized they should just stay home, . Actually, if you come to the game or watch it, just keep your eyes on Springfield’s linebacker number 45. He’s usually the smallest player on the field but makes at least 10 tackles a game and affects more plays than that.

That was not a shot at Springfields team lol. I said i didnt know much about Springfield other than what i read in the paper and what i saw when looking at their roster. They are small for a 5A school, but i never said they didn't have playmakers, they obviously do. I just wanted to know how is a undersized 5A school always so successful. Seems like many of the posters in this group have never seen Munford on the field and are quick to put labels on them because of the district they are placed in.

their pass defense is very mediocre...they do run several different looks but everyone has thrown the ball well on them. Their run defense is a little better but not great. Honestly they have not played anyone very good with the exception of Covington early in the year. That region is very weak and to see a team that got dog walked by the top 2 teams in our region go and beat the 2 seed which Munford barely beat is kind of shocking. Munford definitely has 3 play makers. What i find amazing is memphis central qb wins player of the region but the munford rb is a mr football finalist. Not taking anything away from munfords back he is a real talent.  Just watching film this game has a potential to not even be close. Now with that being said its a long travel game and springfield was extremely flat in their 27-7 win over memphis central last week, so its playoffs and anything can happen. But Wilson i believe has lost 1 playoff game west of dickson in his career so he should have no problem getting the ready. Hoping for an exciting game...i just hope the boys are not looking forward to next week and a rematch with HC and not handle business in front of them.

I believe Central's QB is the head coach's son, so maybe he was pandering to the other coaches to get his son player of the year. I saw in the paper where centrals QB threw 4 interception and possibly a couple of those were in the end zone if i'm not mistaken. If Central's QB doesn't throw 4 interceptions this game might've turned out differently?
