Hey y'all. I am new to Tennessee and I am a bit confused about how the playoffs work here. This is what I got so far (Correct me if I am wrong) There are two Divisions (Division I for public schools and Division II for private schools?) There are classifications based on school population (AAAA for bigger schools down to A for the smaller schools?) within each Division There are "Regions" within each classification, and in each region there are "Districts". If all of the above is correct, what are the core objectives for a team each year? District Champion -> Regional Champion -> State Champion? If that is the progression, how are teams picked for each of those tournaments? Thanks for the help! Loving this site and the passion for basketball in the state!
