  1. Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.

I love watching Bearden people on here complaining about recruiting when they have the scummiest rrecruiting coach in the state.  Maryville has always gotten the players they want and I guess ole Jones thought he could swindle a few good years recruiting players and then playing in public school. But karma is a _____________ ole Jonesy

What’s actually really funny is that Maryville fans have been denying the fact that they recruit for years. youth programs, middle schools, and even high school sometimes. But now it’s funny to see them hide in the shadows and come up with every excuse possible. That’s the funny part. As someone who had kids who played football zoned for William Blunt, and playing youth football, taking my kids to football games, I’ve seen what Maryville does with every single player from that team and parents. This team the other team etc, and what? Nobody talks about it, or perhaps it’s just common to have coaches on a high school football team come up to you and talk to you about your six-year-old child “having a better future.”

Now let me make this very clear. I don't have a problem with kids transferring. I think if the parents allow it and the player wants to do it, go ahead, but the fact that the fans on this website try to act like their high school is just so needy and clean. And he never recruits when that gets blown up; they just hide in the shadows to try to come up with any excuse; we’re just laughing it off as just a simple move. That’s the funny part.

So this business that you are alluding to won't make them money? Free land/discounted land isn't helping their pockets?

It’s pretty obvious the business has made the money; that’s why they want to build more, and when you got half the real estate team for Blount County and surrounding areas on your booster club, they can get you some good ole land.

Have no problem if they want to use the football field but dang get a professional painter that knows what he's doing , not something that looks like Box Car Willie stopped by overnight to spray yellow graffiti on the field. if this was grass it would be no big deal but this is a synthetic football field someone painted.

It’s a game that the Smith family has played perfectly.

What do you suppose that the piece of land that your booster club/coaching stuff bought right next to Bearden High School for ole Smithy boy are going to do now? Looks like renovations have already started, it’s going to be one to keep an eye on.

Went by and saw the team out on the field in shorts the first day of spring practice. Then I noticed yellow markings all over our million dollar football field. It absolutely looked like Earl Scheib had went out there and done one of his famous $99 paint jobs of a Lacrosse field. I hope the person that did that gets some serious jail time. How will they ever get that mess off there?

Suppose it could be the Maryville lacrosse team? Just a suggestion.

Not money lol it’s about company and who can help it the most.

I don't suppose people on this website use their brains too often. Why would an 11-year NFL veteran need cold hard cash, a lot deeper than people think. Wondering where the new Maryville location is going to be, they better have given him some good building land.:popcorneater:

  8. Now someone, please correct me if I’m wrong. If his parents are moving to BLOUNT COUNTY like they said, wouldn’t he be eligible for BLOUNT COUNTY schools? … Not Maryville city schools...

Ole Lee getting a lot of upgrades to his training center for this one probably handed him some land to build another training center in Maryville. There is nothing better than plan out recruiting allegations.:roflol:

How long does the Sober Steve act take to wear off and the beer and vodka to start flowing?

Does this school still not have football field? I know they played at some park when Trouble Troy was their HC and ran the program into the ground.

How long until Broke Benji’s money dries up and the church is left holding a spoiled bag of good does this program die once and for all?

There is a lot of movement happening at Concord Cristian, behind-the-scenes and a lot of money for the athletic program that’s been sitting for many years is ready to be spent don’t know the official date but I would imagine by 2026. There’s gonna be a lot of brand new equipment and facilities at Concord Cristian, I know they already have plans to build tennis courts and have a tennis team by next year and I feel like that’s just the start.

It shouldn’t be a rule in the first place, and you act like anyone even follows it. You can just say you “moved” and or use a fake address, and the TSAA will never come down to check. No one likes the rule, and no one even follows it. Why is it a rule in the first place?

I know of a kid who used a PO Box as his address to transfer schools and they never said a thing, even though I’m sure the whole coaching staff knew.

so, although it’s a rule by the TSAA, nobody enforces it.
