  1. Gather round gather round...my my my. I can't help but wonder what the nincompoops are going to do with all this poop. I must say that I absolutely disdain the administration that McNairy co has. Gutless is a complement compared to the words I would use. Most concerning topic is that the amount of fights occurring at school. Two years ago roughly 9 fights. This year we are now touching upper 50s. Breaking down that number (number of fights/number of days in school) 9/180 = .05 so 5% of the time there is a fight. 60/180= .3333 so 33% percent of the time or (1/3 of the year) there is a fight. This is an issue. McNairy Co is not a school where that should be a reality. The only people you can fault here are parents and admin. With these buffoons leading your ship that number will only get worse. The non athletic director Franks is so happy with the HC hire that he is already sharing his opinion on the matter. I mean what a guy this is. Walks the halls with a smile, tells everyone we found our guy. However, within 1 week of the new hire is already telling people we did not hire "his" guy. He wanted a candidate out of Bville, MS. "Gordon, what was the name you guys had for me when I was in Internal Affairs?" Two-Face The Super Intendent for McNairy co has a son. He is the HC at Adamsville for basketball. I believe it is worth noting that he won 3-23 games his first year and has only won 2 games this year. To the best of my investigating..."He is doing a fine job. Just needs a few more pieces and they will start winning games." I don't think he is incorrect. I think one of the pieces would be a new coach. All this to say, I believe in a word called capacity. Capacity has definition that says, "The amount that something can produce." I believe that the men pulling the strings at McNairy Co bear small capacity and will continue to lessen the product they are supposedly in charge of until someone changes that dynamic.
  2. Good morning Bobcats. I would apologize for the silence over the net as of late, but "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a dang." News got broke this past week about the FINE hire for you guys decided to invite into the hot seat. This post we will break down Coach Truett. As always, I look forward to your scholarly responses. Coach Truett at South Gibson was a DC on title alone. Now, for those of you that do not know the meaning...He was there to fill a seat and not make gameplay decisions. Last season, Truett was the QB coach at Trenton last season. Anddddd after two weeks was demoted to JV coach only. The best part of all this nonsense is that the man is spreading tall tales that McNairy will be a 1 or 2 seed this season in playoffs. "You don't go writting hot checks down in Mississippi, and there ain't no good chain gang." So my verdict is that Truett is a good guy in the sense he is a decent human being. I know the people he has worked beside and can't say anything bad about him. He will help kids go on to be good to do men. He will not however put forth a winning season. I cannot stress this enough. Losings games is mostly due to the players they are lining up against. I give him about 3 years and then he will either be sick of the administration or the admin will be trying to backdoor him. I could be wrong, hope I'm wrong, but I don't think I am.
  3. That is usually what happens when you leave as head coach? You have to go get another job lol Ol big brain over here.
  4. This is one response I can get behind. I have a vested interest in the sense I want the best hand put forward for the kids. McNairy still operates on the good ol boy system like many other rural towns. It is an issue that school systems have faced for a long long time and the ones that sacrifice the most are the kids. As for bashing these poor souls that want to come here my response is this... McNairy is an intermediary school. They are not coming there to "right" a ship. They are coming there to have a HC title. Coaches that actually reside there and give a hoot I would argue different, but if you do not live in Selmer you aren't coming there because you love it. I have already expressed the best thing for McNairy is having a hire that is willing to have an sub par record, but focuses on building kids into young good to do men. Keep following more to come.
  5. Well, it is high time that I bring my flock something to graze on. It's not Bermuda, it is not alfalfa, this will be the finest manure that one can manifest. You see children, we cannot fathom the desires of the moronical...only watch and pray that the sheep are wise enough to go on to other pastures for this field needs to tilled and planted. Without further delay, I give you the finest manure McNairy Bobcats are serving I shall start with the coaching search and leading candidates and for obvious reasons (Behind Enemy Lines style. "No names over the net.) 1.) Assistant Coach at Lexington. He was WR coach at McNairy 3 years ago. Former sped teacher, but forged some SPED documents was removed to middle school PE. Now, I know he sounds like a winner so let me add to it. His first head coaching position put him in charge of track and field. He QUIT mid season. Looks like poo, sounds like poo...wonder what it taste like? 2.) My personal favorite is the PEE-WEE coach of the year in Alcorn County. Word has it that he presented his former playbook filled with 260 plays. Now, this playbook was not Coach Klein's playbook but his playbook from when he played practice squad for the vols. He currently works for CATERPILLAR so don't know how they would get him in building. 3.) Mike Mattox retiree from Booneville, MS 4.) 2 Current staff members 5.) Retiree from up north Search Committee Updates: Former booster club president. Nursing teacher in the building. Current Parent of a player. The princiPAL. The AD. Now, the director of schools has washed his hands of the situation, but he will have individual meetings with committee members afterwards. (Why was your hands? Just let those germs build up. Good for the immune system.) I gotta go. This place smells awful.
  6. Guru you remind of the Whizz from Seinfeld...I'm going to start calling you the Whizz. Also they were mercy ruled x4 last year...what's a few more Whizz?
  7. Coach? They were mercy ruled x3 last year...what's a few more brother? LOL
  8. Friends, countrymen, lend me your ears for I bring you information of the utmost insignificance (because McNairy blowsss)... the superintendent was calling members of the community with the aspiration that he could dilute the support for the former head coach. 1.) We have roughly 10 applicants. (I prefer to call them masochists due to they must desire hurting themselves to work here) 2.) On the search committee is a random parent of a current athlete. This parent is not on the board, or any county commission for that matter... 4.) McNairy has created this fallacious committee and given final authorization and approval to the superintendent because AD has washed his (gender fluid) hands of the situation to avoid being the bad guy. This man is a snake in the grass so grab your weed eater. 3.) McNairy will now be in 4A. This means what was bad, just got worse! Amen and Amen. I have to refer to the great boxer Clubber Lang for McNairy's future. "Prediction??? PAIN."

  10. For ALL NEWS on McNairy follow ATM...The Bobcat Way thread. Got some more info for those that care
  11. My man, my rotten sack of potatoes...when i speak/type it's not gibberish. That's right I have more analytical prowess in my fingernails than you have in your being. So address me with respect and I shall do the same with you. I do not know of a soul that would venture to say that 4-23 is a good record. I never said it was a good record. And in fact if you look I stated that all of said coaches UNDERACHIEVED while they were HC. Have you ever started a project and realized, "I do not have all the tools I need to pull this off."? That is what every single HC at McNairy is looking at. You know what a coach needs when they are already at a lesser school? You need full autonomy to perform. Coach Johnson did not have that because he could not bring in his staff. You also need an Admin that will take the blows with you and Coach Johnson did not have that. Now, most importantly, to win you need HORSES IN STABLES and Selmer, McNairy Co does not have HORSES. I've stated in a different thread that the sad truth of McNairy is that you are coaching young adolescents and turning them into good to do men. Coach Johnson is a great candidate of that as you just said.
  12. I don't have an axe to grind, but I do have this sack of rotten potatoes that needs to be taken to the dump. Yeah there are plenty of kids in Selmer, but I do not agree with the "kids can play football at a high level." I wish I had an excel breakdown of size/weight, max, 40, vert, and skills drills. I bet just about in every way McNairy would not be on the winning side of that tale of the tape. DO NOT ever put a high school coach in the same field as that of an NFL. That's just stupid. These guys make anywhere from 50k-90k to listen, to have to put up with and deal with expired cheese all day long. Aville HC has been there 10+ years so he has continuity and is established. Let's not forget once upon a time, he was caught with some recruiting issues. McNairy has had five (working on 6) HCs as of 2009. 25 athletes left McNairy as soon as AD Franks stepped away from the field. Those 25 kids were the best athletes in the school. "The team had a meeting"... you should do more research on that. 12 players were encouraged by the D Line coach to have a mutiny. The D Line coach was disgruntled for not having the DC position. They say one bad apple ruins a batch but I never really understood why...do you?
  13. "Adamsville in the same boat (maybe worse)" I have to ask you...have you spent much time is west tn? My goodness turn the lights on McFly Selmer is literally the armpit of West tn. Here are the reported numbers for you Adamsville 2021 household income is 39,141.00, Population 2,444.00, Mean (that means average) Property Value 92,100.00, Closer to the river is Adamsville Selmer 2021 household income 32,704.00, Population 4,421.00, Mean Property Value 84,100.00, and furthest from the river. Now, you say get the kids you SHOULD get like Selmer has something to offer. "Hey, we can offer you less money, but you will get to see more people at the local Walmart." I can assure you whatever parent says sign me up have kids coming to play you wish you could send back. If you are wondering what the river argument has to do with anything then I would advise you to get on a wave runner. "winning seasons are within reach..." You play the lottery? the winning ticket is within reach I promise. And don't read this and think, "that's not the same thing" because hindsight is 20/20. Coaches reminisce every decision to see what they could have done differently. Anyone playing McNairy is thinking tune up game plain and simple. You are coaching to help mold young boys into good to do men.
  14. If you thought dinner was served and ready then you obviously have never had my uncle's brisket and I must tell you that it is to die. Now like my uncle he likes to tease and antagonize your senses with a few different appetizers so here is some more food for thought before the main course... Caught wind today that the princiPAL takes a cut of the football fund money. Now if you were to ask me what this fine patriot does with it i am shooooo i don't know. All the kool CATS inform me that it is to buy snacks for the vending machines in the school. Here is the kicker...What does our loving princiPAL do with the proceeds from said vending machines? As Rick Ross says, "DM my accountant. He knows how to count it." MMMM can you taste that flavor? Kind of has a kick to it doesn't it?
  15. No coach worth his salt will ever come to McNairy. I know they contacted Michael Stroup and they were met with more laughs than a Dave Chappelle special. Coach Woodmore and he turned them down. They contacted a community member who was a former coach and he hit them with a "I got a guy on the other line talking about a set of white walls." All of these calls were made while Johnson was HC. What coach wants to work for Coach Franks and princiPAL Jerry Pyron? You won't be able to pull kids from Corinth. You won't pull kids from Adamsville or Hardin Co. McNairy is a tribal place. Kids will go to High school where their parents went.
  16. Something is certainly awry at McNairy Central; I say this due to the fact that the administration has yet again forced another coach to resign. Oddly enough, the former coach was McNairy graduate. Here is what i have and for those that care feel free to add more: Coach Johnson had player buy-in, had coach buy-in, and most importantly went about things the correct way. McNairy has had FIVE coaches since 2009 and those records are as follows... Coach Glover 09-11 and won 8 lost 22. Coach Dampeer 12-13 and won 5 lost 15. Coach Hodge 14-15 won 6 lost 14. Coach Franks 16-20 won 29 lost 24 (Franks is now AD and Baseball coach). Coach Johnson 21-23 won 4 lost 23. Looking at the stats coach Johnson is right on track with McNairy's ability (which will always be par to sub par that is right folks i said it come at me). It is important to note that Coach Franks saw collectively more talent than they have had for some time and still under achieved. Performance issues happen to one out of every 3 men. Get some BlueChew and liven things up. From all the information i have gathered, Coach Johnson was never given a fair shake. The man never had full control of his staff. I have ascertained that Principal and AD had closed door meetings with players and never mentioned this to the man in the seat. AD Coach Franks told players NOT to play football and focus only on BASEBALL. Rather than give a coach on staff a full time job they selected an unlicensed teacher with an ONLYFANS. Coach Johnson did not have full reign of his staff because two of the coaches were untouchable and could not be fired. Rumors circulated that the princiPAL and AD would talk so trash about the football staff that they had to hire a third party hazmat team to clean up after them. As Uncle Eddie says, "pooper's full Clark." I write this to ask the question, "When will the AXIS of EVIL be held accountable?" I would also ask, "WHO the hades wants to work somewhere you are not supported?"
