  1. as far as im concerned saying coach joyner is a good coach then turning around and saying he's a bad person is still bashing in my eyes..and coaching little league and baberuth ball is nowhere near coaching high school baseball so dont even try to put those on the same levels cuz that ain't workin.. but alright i would like to start talking about "District 13AA" since that is the topic.. GOD BLESS!
  2. More pitching depth this year than last year and also overall better team than last year.. its ok.. you dont have to tell us of all your brilliant years of coaching the big time little league and br teams.. i believe we possibly know who you are.. JM
  3. Ok you contradict yourself by saying the word "team" then you say milan is nothing without a "White" on the team... man a good coach can make anything happen so please have you not figured out by now that this is an argument that you cannot win.. So.. Just let it go.......P.S. i look to see Milan go farther this year than last year and last year there was 2 of the so called bloodline.. And once again you have yet to answer where you coached for 20 years.. Are you referring to all the years of little league and baberuth baseball as coaching?
  4. Naw doesn't insult me, personally dont really care how tall you are.. but you still never answered the question of "where" you coached for 20 years?...guess it makes you feel superior calling us boys or something but alright then whatever makes you feel good Mr.
  5. Little dude? Eh, ok.... by the way Mr. Sir where did you coach for 20 years?... It seems to me that myself and the "other boy" understood what you were trying to say since we both took it the same way.. so maybe you just have a bad way of explaining yourself is all...
  6. Any info on Dyersburg? What all do they have coming back this year?
  7. im old enough and been around the game of baseball long enough to understand it and know that he has accomplished a lot as coach at milan over the years
  8. I think i understand what you are trying to say but i have to disagree with you.. and yes i was invited to "work out" with the team before i tried out as a freshman if that makes a difference...coach joyner picks the best of what he has to choose from and the best 9 will play no questions asked.. no one is guaranteed to start.. he plays who works the hardest and has the most game..as a coach and a person i do not know anyone fairer than coach joyner.. he obviously did a good job of picking the 04 team since we went 41-3 and ended as State Champions.. i think he did something right dont you think?
  9. im pretty sure the 4 players you are talking about were "reminded" of workouts not persuaded.. and you have a lot of nerve to sit here and bash your own town man sayin you have to have a golf membership.. because if im not mistaken my last name is normal and i dont play golf and i was on the 04 championship team myself.... and btw i never accused you of anything i just think you were implying the word "begging"...all returning players work out during the off season together not just a certain few
  10. we would love to have the kid on our team this year but coach joyner is not going to beg anyone to play.. if he tries maybe he'll make it if he doesn't try out then we move on without him no big deal.
  11. Milan's 2nd game will be against huntingdon at there place i do believe
  12. yeah i believe milan and dyersburg have more depth coming back this year
  13. What to look forward too?
  14. I think you can add Milan and Dyersburg to that list
  15. George West stood at 6'1" I would move this discussion to the baseball forum, except only plus members can post on the off season sport
  16. i thought you had to sit out until the following school year.. but if he can play on the diamond then he would have chance to show his arm on the hill and help out bulldog baseball
  17. But he will not be eligible for spring sports this year right? and what position in baseball does he play
  18. Expect to see an unusual player on defense friday who is a big time play maker on offense for the dogs..
  19. I can not give you a prediction because a game like this cannot be predicted. It all comes down to the team that wants it the most and makes the less mistakes. They say GP will roll over milan on the ground, but nobody has really been able to prove that all year so i cant show any favortism for GP. Milan's D may not be the biggest, fastest, or strongest but might possibly have the most heart. I look to see #50 D Lineman Kentrell Brooks aka Trell Bo to have a big game as usual. Stoppin the run, makin big plays, and gettin in the backfield every play is his specialty. Don't doubt the DOG or think they'll curl up and lay down because its not in their nature.. Good Luck to both teams at the Dog Pound Friday.. Expect the unexpected
  20. The only thing about baseball is my 2004 State Champions thing at the bottom :justwrestle:
  21. I believe says nothing about baseball..can you read?....... :justwrestle:
  22. I do not see it being a close game... the last time milan rolled into the bolt the dogs made it look like their dog house winning 36-9.. i do not see this being a close game.. milan comes out runnin and gunnin in the first half and jumps on the vikes early.. Milan 28-7.. Dogs D will step up and shut down the running game of the vikes just like last time... :justwrestle:
  23. Thought this was a milan/humboldt string?
