Everyone knew this was going to happen this year as soon as his kid graduated this year. He never even did any coaching anyways. No signs or anything, never coached the bases.

What is Cord's batting average, HR total, RBI, Slug PCT, OBP? I know he is going to Walters State which is a raw school. I am curious to know what is average and power numbers are. No guesstimates Well I can tell you he has great numbers but that doesn't really tell you what kind of player he really is! I have seen plenty of guys that had good numbers that weren't worth snot but numbers were good cause of the competition they played or because their mom kept the book! I can also tell you he was first team All-State as a sophmore and a junior, but again that doesn't always mean that the player is a great player because of all the politics and stuff! Here is what I do know, He's good! He's dang good!!! There have been scouts all over him all year! After the game yesterday, he took BP on Brighton's field for some scout that had flown in from Oklahoma and got there late and missed Cord's homerun in the first inning! Which was his only swing cause he got intentionally walked the next 3 times up! Are you saying that you won't believe that he is a good player unless he has a high batting average? Have you seen him play? I have seen him play and I have personally played with him on a summer ball team. I watched him play against Milan here recently where Northside was defeated 7-4. Good stroke but good numbers tell a lot.

has anyone ever noticed that on coacht the trash talkers don't come around when their team gets beat. Lol how is that trash talk when Milan won that game? Not the sharpest tool in the shed ay bub? i think we all know what i am talking about. the guys that get on here and shout from the mountain tops when their team wins and then you dont here from them after a loss. I understand what you are saying but at the same time I think that has became a just another "American" way of doing things.

Milan beats Crockett 6-2. Christian Coleman and Caleb Powell both homered. Anderson got the victory pitching 6 innings giving up 5 hits, 5 k's, 1 hbp and 1 bb.

It should come down to Milan/Dyersburg in the championship game. The only way that these two teams do not make it is if they beat themselves. Look to see Crockett, GC, and Martin to maybe surprise some teams in the tournament they always play well in the district tournament.

Lol you my friend are what I would like to call an "Idiot". Milan has had 1 losing season since 1990. Id call that a little before the White's time don't you think bub? And this year they are 21-5-1. Ranked in the state. Is that not good? Tying for 1st in the district. I don't see what you consider good but it seems to me you need to get all your facts figured out before you come out and make a statement like that.

Lol I'm not gonna hate on the Dyersburg 3 up here but come on guys. The best in West Tenn? Let's be real. White got stroked, yes he got the win in game one but it helps when he got 7 runs with 1 out. He gave up 2 bombs, one that Christian Coleman hit that needed a stuardist on it cuz it still hasn't landed. Lyons had one inside out me fairy tale shot, believe he was 1-6 with 2 HBPs Mathis had 1 hit against Milan I am almost certain. The best player that I've seen so far off that D burg team is the #4 kid I believe his name is Zach Henson in the 2 hole? He can straight stroke, and is definitely the biggest bat in that line-up.

Dyersburg will be the #1 seed because they beat Milan by 4 runs and Milan beat them by 3 so they win the head to head. Dyersburg will play the winner of the play in game against Obion Co and Haywood and Milan will be squaring off against Crockett Co.

Caleb Powell has played in every game and has now earned the spot of batting clean up for the dogs. He is 6-0 on the hill and being the #3 starter and the district game closer. He is batting somewhere around the .350 mark with 3 HR's. Dylan Hawkins has stepped in and pitched in a few games for Milan and see's time on 3B some.

I believe coin flip is the last resort. It goes to runs allowed head to head first. I believe you will see Anderson vs White at Dyersburg. Probably will be a low scoring game. 3-2 type of game. could go either way. Milan's bats have been hot and are staying hot. Should be some good games

What's the prediction on this match-up? This 2 game series will decide who will be the #1 seed of the tourney and the regular season district champs.

Yeah, I heard he took BP today and long-tossed and will be seeing some time on the hill tomorrow versus Madison. Probably in the late innings.

Miles Anderson of Milan

Milan won today versus GC 10-1 against GC's ace on the hill Trey Tate. Christian Coleman held GC to 4 hits and having a CG to get the win. Yes, the Anderson took one off the knee yesterday and was up walking and throwing today. He will more than likely be seeing innings at some point against Madison or Ripley and will definitely be in the starting line-up Thursday versus Madison. The Dawgs move to 18-4-1 on the year

When Milan/Dyersburg faced off the first time in the Slam Milan pitched 3 guys that are not rotational pitchers. I think Dyersburg threw there number 3 man. It ll be a good match up between Anderson and White. and Yes Anderson is a Junior. Milan only has 4 seniors on the team this year. Defeated GC today 6-1 with Milan's #3 man on the hill Taran Coleman who picked up the victory.

I hear the Colin White is a true pitcher but the Dickerson kid is just a slinger. Watch out for Miles Anderson of Milan when it comes to pitching. Should be a good match-up between Milan/Dyersburg when it comes down to their main arms in the district match up next week.

I need some information on Gibson Co. How is the Tate kid pitching and do they have any kind of #2 pitcher? Also, how are there bats looking at this point? I see that GC is having a pretty solid year compared to years past. Any help with this would be much appreciated.
