What does the Lenoir city supporters want and expect in a new head coach?

How many people have interviewed? What is their timeline for naming a coach? Any names or rumors floating around? What does it take to be successful at Lenoir City?

Wonder if they will contact any of the homegrown talent that is now in the coaching ranks? Like Erik Hutchins, who has been mentioned, Rocky Riley at Alcoa, Spencer Riley OL at West Georgia College, Richie Wilhite D coord. at William Blount, Trey Ondrus QB's at siegel High, or Lamar Brown or Joe Case, both at Mo. West. Several names with Jeff. Co. ties that are all good young coaches.

Joe Case at Mo. west Todd Mounts is at a middle school in Hamblen co. Richie Wilhite is at WB Justin McCulley is coaching somewhere?

As the reg. season winds down, are there any potential head coach or even assistant coaching jobs coming open?

Who all is attending the team camp at McCallie this year? Are they going to have a big scrimmage day with other teams coming in?

District 4 AAA is wide open this year. It looks like 2 or 3 teams could be in the running for the crown. In seeing sevier co in the past, I don't think they have the horses to make a run. They did seem young last year, so maybe they have alot coming back. Only time will tell.

It will be a battle at the top with South Doyle, Bearden, and Farragut. I believe one of those will win the district. Then there is William Blount and Maryville, not real sure how they will do after so-so seasons last year. Heritage or Sevier co. could sneak in there. Haven't heard much from them. Lenoir City is the new comer and the x variable. Who knows how they will fit in?

Nothing to be ashamed of. They had a great season. Just came a little short of their goals. Congrats!

Maybe Houston was a wakeup call for farragut. They will need to be flawless to threepeat.

Was this the final year for the Book kid? He seemed to be one of the better players I saw. If he is gone, who is going to take his place?

Wow, a terrible feeder program, lack of dedication by the players, and a coach nobody likes. It looks like Sevier Co. has it alot worse than anyone thought. They need to revamp the little league, find some players serious about what they are doing, and find a coach everyone likes. Oh yeah, get in a new district so they can win a few games. You will never beat Farragut, South Doyle, or Bearden. So good luck! thumb

How are things shaping up in district 4AAA? I saw where Farragut beat sevier co 4-2 and SD beat heritage 2-0. What is going on at the top? Are there going to be any late season surprises?

It was a terrible evening at bearden park. The bulldogs beat up on the smoky bears 12-2. The playing conditions were awful and so was Sevier Co. Bearden put the ball in play alot and Sevier co. couldn't handle it. Congrats to the bulldogs, will they be playing today?
