Brentwood will be challenged this year (whether they will actually lose to another district team is still up in the air)... Franklin, Independence, Centennial will all put up a good fight.

Independence hasn't been challenged yet, so we will have to see what becomes of them against Siegel on Saturday. I think they will win out in their bracket and advance. Shelbyville was a really fast team. Wow. I don't think I've seen a faster 11 players on the field. Ravenwood was just slow at making descisions with the ball... and let's not forgot that Ravenwood "gave" at least one goal to Shelbyville because of defensive/goalie communication problems. Ravenwood will be a good team, they just need to tighten up and figure out how to attack and defend as a team.

Tonight's game... Ravenwood is coming off a tough loss last night. They will rebound and win tonight vs. Shelbyville. Independence should handle Columbia Central by a few goals.

I like playing on Kentucky Fescue that is in patches, so the you have to dribble through and around them. Fescue patches or as I like to call them "Nature's cones" ... Why purchase a $1 cone if Nature can give them for free!

I'd prefer a nice artificial turf (like the one on my grandma's porch...!)

What do you all think about a good zoysia mixture. We don't see much of it in TN, but I'm sure other parts of the U.S. use it. p.s. I'd like to play on a soft carpet of CLOVER! That would be great!

I don't know what exactly is reported to TSSAA, but I know for a fact that Franklin is the LARGEST high school in Williamson Co... Ravenwood is Second and Independence is third. I realize the numbers don't tell that story, but that's a FACT based on WCS enrollment publications. If you are going to add up numbers of students in Will Co. you have to include all the private schools that take students from the public schools... BGA, BA, FRA, CPA, to name a few.... most of these students are Will Co. students. I spoke with some people at Bearden and they confirmed that there are 2100 students in the school.
