  1. I totally agree with you number 28 is a punk and has a hot temper, but he doesnt ever take it as far as scales, #13. #28 didnt attack anyone like scales. All he does it talk a lot of trash. He doesnt take it that far. Scales tackled someone at least 10 secs after #6 had thrown it just because a flag for slashing was called. If anyone needs to be reprimaded for his classlessness it is SCALES. 28 just needs to be hit and he will shut his mouth. I think we should quit this because its not getting anywhere. CBHS had #28 being unsportsmanlike. And MUS had #13 being unsportsmanlike. Seems even to me.
  2. definitly two memphis teams in the playoff would be awsome.
  3. I have to agree with HSsoccerfan. This is stupid. Really what did yall expect. Both teams had people get out of hand on the bench and on the stands. Thats part of rivalry games. Neither team really acted with class, so there is no use in pointing fingers and putting the teams down. I can come up with plenty of examples of both teams acting without class, and some of you guys are trying to make it completely one-sided. As for the refs: this is a problem that i have seen in TSLA for years. Refs in tenn just dont cut it. Ive played everywhere from florida(Great refs) to DC(also great Refs). By far the refs here are really bad. They have a different style that causes things to get out of hand. They dont let the game play out and they are too quick to make petty calls. These so called "CBHS" refs are not the only ones. Kirby, former MUS player, and that other new guy this year did the same thing in the McCallie v. MUS game. I think they trully lost them the game. McCallie played much better then MUS except for Gibson. After this year TSLA needs to seriously review their refs and get them some better training. It is not an isolated problem with the two refs last night. It is a problem across the state.
  4. Yeah i agree with taylor. Number 27 for mcallie was a great face off man. He is definitly one of the best. By the way what is his name, Anyone?
  5. Hopefully it doesnt get rained out, but this game is going to be awesome. The rivalry and competition between these two teams is unmatched. Coming off some pretty big wins, MUS will be in the groove ready to play. For them to do well they have to come into it like its not going to be a push over like they did last time. CBHS is going to be ready as well. They know how to play MUS and know what they have to do to win. It all depends on if they can excecute it well. Penalties for CBHS usually makes them lose, so if they lay off on the slashes and conduct fouls then they will make it a much more exciting game. To me this game is really up in the air as to who is going to win. Personally I think that MUS is going to be cocky again since they just beat lassiter and mcallie. This attitude, i think, will either be their downfall on wed or definitly will catch up to them in the tournament. Overall this game will be very close, but im really going to have to pull for the underdog. CBHS CAN DO IT AGAIN!!!! It also depends on Gibsons performance. If a team knows how to play gibson they they can usually keep him to about 2 goals. Lassiter knew nothing of him so thats why he had what five goals. Anyway good luck to both teams. I cant wait to see the outcome.
  6. My favorite is definitly disturbed. They usually get me really angry before the game, which helps. Also any metallica will do the job as well. Whatever is really fast-paced gets me pumped up and ready to play. I definitly dont want anything that is going to calm me down.
  7. They were definitely flying too high, but nequa kick em off their high horse and i think they realize that they need to play as a team again and not get hot heads

    All Time

For defense I'd like to add Matt Bazaar. He played for CBHS back in 1998 and went on to play for Auburn for four years recieving many awards. He was one of the assistant coaches for CBHS last year and he is a heck of a player. At attack: Thomas Slattery is also a great choice. He is a CBHS graduate from 2000, and is most definitely the best attackman/midfielder to ever come out of CBHS. He played for Auburn up until this year. Ill come back later with some of these guys stats which i dont currently know off the top of my head.

    MUS vs. CBHS

MUS will probably be ready for the brothers next game, but I believe it is going to be another great game with great competition. CBHS played their hearts out during this game and they will do it again in two weeks. To all of you who said CBHS is a joke that they are out of the competition you are dead wrong, and this upset proves the teamwork and dedication that the team has. It also proves to everyone that MUS relies too heavily on a few key players (Gibson, Sawyer, and Rainer), and they don't perform then they don't win. Its as simple as that. The breakdown and frustration on the owls part led to their destruction during the game. MUS has lots of talent but came into that game way too cocky and they got shut down by a thought to be inferior team. Great job Brothers!! Good luck to both teams in the rest of the season and I can't wait to see what happens in the war that is a lacrosse field in two weeks.
  10. So who does everyone think should win. Is it gonna be close? Why?
