I know for Regional & Sectional games in the middle of the State you have officials from a different association calling the games.

The Bracket and Game Times were set at the Region meeting. The White Station girls coach did not attend the meeting. They did have a representative at the meeting.

The game time for the Memphis Central / White Station game was always scheduled for 6:00pm. If you look at the TSSAA and jim314 brackets they are list by districts in order. District 15AAA is hosting the Region 8AAA Championship and they wanted the District 15AAA #1 seed to play the 7:30 game. Philtenn will you please share with us in more detail about your statement and who are Central's Middle Tennessee Fans. "It really irritates me, though, when I saw Central's Middle Tennessee fans already at the game and I'm getting there at the end of the 1st quarter. Even Middle Tennessee knew before we did."

PURPLE76 could have asked the question differently about this player instead of using the word he/she chose. I believe when you write this particular word that was chosen you are saying something about that person's character. I know we all have different opinions about the language that we may speak but this word goes beyond normal words. Because of PURPLE76 writing on Coacht and phasing the question with this word has caused this young lady to have to go back and talk with her parents, coaches, discussion about having to go before National Honor Society Council and her future college coach. All I was trying to say in my original post was that everyone must really think before they start typing words about student athletes and how it may affect them.

After you read this you are going write I??™m sorry I don??™t know Hannah or her family but the problem is it is too late. You have written something for everyone to see about this young ladies character. I have been around her and her family for sometime and have never heard those words being spoken from them. The official who asset the Technical was not even around her and never gave Coach Burkey a reason why she received the Tech. I for one am amazed of how little respect this young lady has received from this district while she has been at Shelbyville. I am also tired of people saying she was one of Coach Insell??™s recruits before he left for MTSU? I know for a FACT that Coach Insell never ask Hannah or her parents to come to play for him at Shelbyville. But as of today Five High School programs have ask her to leave Shelbyville since her Freshman season to come and play for them. As I have watched Hannah play High School and Travel Ball I have learned something from her. She has never played for her parents, people in the stands watching her or for something to be written about her in a news paper. When you sit down and ask her about a game she will tell you that her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ blessed her with the ability to play the game and she lays it all on the line for Him because that is what He did for her. PURPLE76 the next time you take the time to write something on this website or anywhere else think before you do. Most of the young ladies who adults are writing about already carry a burden for their team because of the position they have been placed in. I for one believe you owe Hannah Dawson an apology and not just getting on Coacht but personally walking up face to face and to say you are sorry for questioning her character.

Can someone explain why Oak Ridge is not #1 in the AAA polls? I know they lost 2 games at the Nike TOC but look at the competition they played.

Memphis Central will play Country Day CA for 3rd Place in the Red Division at 11:30 CST on Tuesday Morning.

Memphis Central Game with Whitney Young IL will be played on Monday at 4:00 CST. Villa Maria Academy PA flight to Phoenix arrived late and they well play Bishop O'Dowd CA on Monday morning. The Loser of that game will play St. John the Baptist NY at 5:30 CST and the winner will play Country Day CA at 7:00 CST.

Any team can beat another team on any given night. I believe the difference in this game will come down to Shelbyville Perimeter Defense and Lawrence County Post Defense.

Hey, thanks. Sure, come holler at me. We are trying to piece it together right now. Last night I pulled up 4 freshmen from the freshmen team without them practicing at all with the varsity and it was tough considering that they weren't familiar with anything the varsity team does... So I was teaching them for the first 3 quarters on the sideline before they got in to play early in the 4th quarter. It should be interesting to see how they adjust and learn. Coach, why are your Freshman not familiar with anything the Varsity team does? I would think a Freshman or JV Teams would run the same offense and defense that the Varsity would be running so they would be prepared for the Varsity team next year.
