Two defenders are already in the backfield to bring CB (booker) down, he breaks their gang tackle and reverses his field all the way into the Endzone untouched for the TD 17-14. next after a db fumble, OR scores on a Mcmahon to Thompson pass putting OR finally in the lead 21-17. OR d lineman strips ball from ferguson, gulmire scoops it up and runs it back 20 yrs for another td making the score 28-17. Ferguson throws a int to grant henry and OR ends the comeback victory with Mcmahon connecting with James mitchell for a td. By that time all the db fans had left their own stadium while us wildcats danced all over the mid field logo after the game.

First of all i am no longer a high school student, second i happen to live in CC even though i palyed at OR so that does give me the right to say what i want bout CC since i know more about what goes on over there then you do. IMO region 2-5A is the toughest in all of TN football. I mean you got Ooltewah,Soddy Daisy, McMinn,Farragut, and of course my alma mater Oak Ridge. My bet is on that Oak Ridge will win region again and win state as well now that coach stevens is the head coach. Tell me who do u guys thnk will win the region this year

well said, they should be a 5A school. As for state titles OR has 8 and the 1956 National title. so for you guys to say that maryville is better than us think again. We can beat you any day of the week if maryville is so good then they need to play teams like riverdale and db in order to prove how good they are

This thread was about Maryville being afraid of those Oak Ridge Wildcats. What is in Oak Ridge to make a winning state power like Maryville be afraid? I would think it would be an opportunity for Oak Ridge to get to play Maryville. Why doesn’t Oak Ridge play Knox Central or Powell every year? Those teams are good year after year and after all they are cross county rivals in other sports? Maryville has no reason to be afraid of Oak Ridge or any one else. The program has arrived at a place where the team that don’t get the chance to play them one defaults to the stupid position that Maryville is somehow hiding or cheats every year to win football games. Oak Ridge, Once a State Power is no more. They win 8-11 games every year and can’t get over the hump to get the state game. Maryville on the other hand has proven they can not only get over that hump but are in fact that hump for anyone else. That make Maryville the team to beat for next few years. This year, reloaded will be no different.
