The way that some of us feel on the team, me included you don't need to come back next year. Out of the last 3 weeks, you have been too busy to come to practice. You don't work, so you could not use that as an excuse. You attended maybe 2 practices. Never on a Monday, because your beloved club team in Memphis was at practice. You thought last year that you were the saviour of the team. You were not. Maybe the reason you got beat on your side the first half was because you looked like you were out of shape. You are. We will play next year with or without you or mason peters. We might lose some, but we will all have fun and enjoy playing the game. Soccer is not life. Soccer is a sport that gets you ready for life, something that you will never be ready for. And as for the coach shoving you last night, he was trying to defuse the stuff that was going on and he pushed you toward our bench. The main reason he told you to leave the field was you called him a son of a #####. That took a lot of class to do that. Don't play next year, we don't want you to. number 1 benchwarmer. bye

haha thanks big G, i was hoping to see you guys in the final, but we got put in a hole i dont know if any team can dig themselves out of... nah i wish we could make it next year, but to be honest, madison lost all their talent this year except 4 players, and I am just a sophomore starter, but i quit after tonight, so they really have 3 left... and no depth on the bech this season, all they have is the starters, thats what killed them... but i wish you the best of luck coach, its been a fun season

Sheffield had to play McNairy Central to get in the semi-finals of the Region. Beat them 3-0. After they got there, they played Haywood. Haywood should have beaten them 4-0 plus in that game. Haywood missed all kind of open shots. Missed a PK. Missed a header in front of the goal. They won in a shootout.

It also helps that they get an automatic berth to Region Semis.

Are you crazy or what? You do not have a keeper to stop a rec team, and USJ will wax you. The last 2 years you have been good, but this year you have been hanging on by a thread. Guess what? USJ is going to cut that thread. After you get beat by them, are you going to use the same on excuse that all of your team did not play? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sheffield will lose badly against USJ on Sat. Their starting Keeper was red carded in the last 5 minutes by taking our forward down in a bearhug and head lock to keep him from scoring. Stupid move on his part already losing 3-0. Their back-up keeper is really bad. He tried to do a throwin from the sideline and left the goal wide open. USJ skates into the state.

let me rephrase my earlier statement. Do not write it in the books. It is already written in the books. You never count USJ out. With Sheffield without their keeper, USJ is already in the quarter-final game. They called the hotels tonight and booked their room.

Wat makes u so sure that USJ will win? Will coaching realy make that big of a difference? Speed is a big deal on a big field like Dyersburgs and USJ doesnt have any. It will be a good game but I dont see how u can count out either team.

When you put subs in for subs and they score, what can you do about it? They have as much right to try to score as anyone else. They have been on the bench and at practice all year. So no, the score was not runned up. If so, it would have been 20-0 or more. The refs were David Rhom and Doss. It is a new rule to shorten the game in the second half.

huh? I'm curious about this new rule? This is the first i've heard anybody talk about it actually being a rule except when they were saying they wished we did have a rule like that. Looks like we found the keeper

Our starting keeper is good. 3rd year starter. He was not there for the first 2 games with Martin which resulted Martin scoring 6 toal goals. The goal that got in yesterday was luck. He had it and it went under him. The reason Martin could not shoot from the 18 was because of our defense. They had no choice but to try to get it to the outside.

just from looking at yals keeper while the ball martin was working the ball around tonight didnt suprise me when that goal went in. they should have been firing from the top of 18 instead of trying to pass it in the mix on the six.

Remember, the last 2 times they have played, Madison has not had their starting keeper in the game. Might make a difference. 3rd year starter.

You play Madison on a large field and you will get your beating.

Guys, is this the correct score? It is showing up on the coach t schedule as this. You ck soccerinfo and the TSSAA schedule, they are not to play until later in the season. Anybody know anything about this score?

What makes you think you can pull this off? Last year Madison and McNairy played twice and McNairy was outscored 13-2. You have different players this year. Better have your best game on, the Mustang herd is coming that way!

McNairy won 3 to 1. Madison will be a tough test but mcnairy can pull it off.

Why is it that you folks from Middleton are always WHINNING when you lose a ball game? You lost, get over it. What about the refs not calling any over the back by the middleton players? Forgot about that didn't you. What about the championship game between TCA and Madison when all of the rude fans from Middleton took up the whole side of the gym and the TCA fans except the student body had to set somewhere else? Middleton has the rudest fans in the world. Why do you keep the heat on during the game, but at half time you cut the fans on? All this is also being addressed by the TSSAA.

As far as driving to the basket, if the defense is in postion and you try to bully your way in, it is called a CHARGE. Your players were lucky just to be in the same building with Madison. Your team was outplayed and outcoached. Get over it. Why don't you go and get signed up and be an official, but then you would have to know how to read and take a test. Leaves most of your fans out on that.

DEFENSE wins games and your team didn't have it that night. You have a whole year to learn how to play defense.

officials can cost you a game. if your team has 4 players in foul trouble before the second quarter, and the other team is in the bonus. and they have been shooting fouls shots and have not shot an outside shot or did a lay up. now if they are not shooting outside shots and not even getting a lay up, but they are managing to go to the freethrow line from one quarter to the next. who fault would you say it is.

because if your team can't drive in without getting a foul, but the other team can. would you say something smells fishy. because your team is playing defense if the other team can't get a shot off. now days you are having to play 8 people instead of 5. the refs should call it even and straight down the line. because if you are unsure about a call then you should not blow the whistle and come up with something.
