  1. Dang Butchie, No love from the you.... I do my bast not to talk SMACK on here cause I dont want to eat crow. I know the REBS beat us 35-0. All this talk about how the REBELS played good and dominated. Yes, they kicked our tail. No doubt about it. But have you ever thought for a second that it was more Bruceton playing bad than the Rebels playing good. Think about it. The Tigers played awful. The first touchdown was on a screen that a Tiger defender simply fell down. The second td came right after a Tiger interception. I just think it was more the TIGERS playing bad. Lets hope that both teams can remain injury free, have good seasons, and the Tigers will travel over to McKenzie in the playoffs. Butchie, show some love man. That Mustang/Rebel game looks to be a beauty down the road.
  2. This guy is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer. It is never too late to go back and get an education.
  3. Duckman - thats the smartest thing you have ever said... you sure have it right....... Lets have a great game, great fans, two great towns, and play football like it was meant to be played - hard and on the field. Will the ponytail be a fashion statement tonight? butchie said you wouldnt be you without it...... Have a safe trip over!!!!! GO TIGERS!!!
  4. Both schools have a State Championship. Both school have two runner up trophies. One has a NFL #1 draft pic and SEC Defensive Player of the Year, Butkis Award Winner. In the end that is all that matters. Id say that makes them pretty close to even.
  5. Have you lost your mind????? Both Chad and Alex were first team all state selections last season. I have heard both are Division 1 recruits. Not Murray State Div. 1 but Memphis, OleMiss, and UT. Both have been rated on Unapproved Website as 2 star players. (Patrick Willis was a 2 star in high school) and he turned out to be one of the best players in history to come from Tennessee. I assure you - these Rebs wont see a better backfield. This will be an epic battle tomorrow night..... Seems to be smore smack talk coming from some REBS, not a lot here but facts. Everyone knows McKenzie has a high octane offense. But make NO mistake. Carr better make plays. I bet Comer dont want to to to slug it out on the ground with the Tigers. That is the TIGERS game. Sure, the Rebs are running it more but I assure you that wont be comers game plan to run it down the Tigers throats. He will try to runit enough to get single coverage for those 2 good WR's. The Tigers traditionally do VERY well -vs- running teams. Ask Lake Co the last two years. you guys tried to that running game approach the last 2 years and dang near gave up 100 points in the last two meetings. The Tigers have only given up 2 td's to Lake county in 2 years. For the REBS to win this game - Carr and the receivers will have to have a great night. If Jordan carries it 40 times tomorrow night - The Tigers will win. I cant wait either. Two great rivals, two great supporting towns, what else can someone ask for.... GO TIGERS!!!!!
  6. Awefully strong talk ------ taking over the blue dip????? The parking lot???? I can say you guys sure do talk a good game. You guys do have a good team but not a powerhouse by any means. This will be a good game between two very good class a teams. Sure, the Rebels have a nice balance of pass and run. The Tigers have a BRUTAL running game with a team full of senior. DONT COUNT YOUR CHICKENS!!!!!!
  7. So McKenzie will score more on Bruceton's defense than Dresdens???? I seriously doubt that. This will be an old fashioned "slobber-knocker" WAIT AND SEE. McKenzie does have a high powered offense that can score points but keep in mind the TIGERS run a clock-keeping run and pound offense which may limit the number of opportunities for the REBEL offense. Everyone continues to bring up the jamboree. The Tigers played a very good Hickman team and it appeared the they didnt run Jordan or Matlock alot. Camden pounded the REBELS too. The Rebels did manage a score. These two teams are both solid and it will be a great game. BETTER GET THERE EARLY!!!!! Parking can be tough on the hill during bis games.
  8. The Trinity fans are terribly quiet. Looks like things are back to normal. TCA is the 3rd best private school behind JCS, and USJ. Hardegree did hang 30 on the board. Sure makes the Fayette -vs TCA game look huge down the road.
  9. I tried to warn the TCA faithful but NO ONE was listening.
  10. Butchie, I am VERY disappointed in you and your overall knowledge of the football. You mentioned that you figured Bruceton would finish 3rd or 4th like they did last year. BRUCETON was second. Their only region loss was those dreaded COFEDERATES. This game should prove to be a classic. Better get there early. NOT ALOT OF PARKING ON THE HILL!!!!!
  11. Bruceton finished second last season. There only loss in the region was to McKenzie.
  12. Will they make the playoffs this year??
  13. Will they make the playoffs this year??
  14. We LOVE you Tigers, yes we do..... We LOVE you Tigers, Our hearts are true..... We LOVE you Tigers, we do..... Oh TIGERS we LOVE you.
  15. Alex Matlock 6'5- 265 BEAST Bruceton Central
  16. Im still taking Bruceton. Hickman and Lewis were two very good football teams.
  17. Go Tigers!! Bruceton typically scrimmages up. Hickman Co. was a good team. Region 6AA is solid with Huntingdon, Camden, Lewis Co. and Hickman. Other than Camden, Hickman was one of the best teams in the Huntingdon Jamboree.
  18. Lewis County is the real deal. They have an outstanding ball club.
  19. This game may be closer than the TCA faithful want.
  20. Central1, where are ur priorities? This is football season and Fridays mean football. The Tiger will need all of us on the hill this afternoon. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!
