  1. I believe Burlison was NOT double teamed every play! And He didn't handle the offensive line..LOOK AT THE FILM...IT SHOWS IT! And I believe that several offensive lineman did handle them against him, perfectly fine.
  2. This one is going to be a dooozzyyyyy!!!!! lol I say USJ takes this one, 56-14. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. I completely understand what you are saying... USJ hasn't been that way for the past two years. USJ doesn't have a lot of big players either. The whole offensive line ranges from 180-220 Ibs. They haven't always won games, but they gave it their all just as Dresden did. Personally, I know how you feel and all I can say is that good things will happen to people that work hard and give it their all!
  4. 6 or 7 fresmen and sophomore starters... well USJ played with all fresmen and sophomores the whole second half and still outscored them 12-8. and it should have been 14-8, but USJ decided to neel it on all PATs for the rest of the game as good spormanship.
  5. But they're different teams, different players, different coaches. We will see how well USJ really does with the passing game friday night against a majority run game team.
  6. I very sure the Bill Hardagree did get sacked once! The USJ offensive line was giving the Trinity line trouble. Hunter Johnson (340 D-tackle) said in the Jackson Sun, "We had trouble with USJ's offensive line, but we gave it our all." I don't think that the O-line had too much trouble.
  7. well... it looks like USJ won 30-27.
  8. Yeah, I agree. If USJ's defense can learn to stop the run then it will be a hard fought game on both sides.
  9. With USJ coming off of the victory of Trinity what will the outcome of the game verses Humbolt?
  10. well.. the final score to the game was 30-27 USJ. They looked very impresive on offense. Bill Hardagree may not be a number 6 dropback quaterback in the country, but he sure played like one!
  11. Well...it's open season now boys! We will see who everbody really is made of tonight weather it be Trinity or USJ.
  12. I think that some people have the wrong idea of who USJ really is. Some many people say that USJ isn't a good football team, has no talent, and have horrible sportsmanship. Since 1987, USJ football teams have won 13 District/Region titles, and participated in 52 state playoff games. This includes 3 State Finals, 7 Semi-Finals, and 10 Quarter-Finals. USJ has been represented by 44 All-State players and four Mr. Football finalists (two of which were winners). Not to mention Coach Mickey Marley who always coached at USJ and has the top 3rd winning percentage in the State. Two players, Trey Teague and Brennen Berg, were named on The Jackson Sun's All-Century team. And if I don't recall, Trey Teague was drafted by The University of Tennesse, started at center, AND won a national championship! That's not all... after he graduated he went to play for the Denver Broncos who ended up winning a Super Bowl! USJ may not be on the top of their game right now, but (and I Quote from 101.5) "USJ may be small but they'll pop you, so you better get ready for it." I think USJ deserves a little more respect.
  13. I wanted to see some of the opinions toward USJ this season. Being in this very tough region, it looks as if USJ might make the playoffs this year with the way they played against Liberty High School in the Jamboree, Southside High School scrimage, and Union City. Anyway... I was just wondering what some of the opinions were.
