Coach Brien BK Crowder is leaving the school to coach basketball at Antioch next year. He coached Rhea Co. to the TSSAA AAA-Boys Basketball Tourny in the 2003-2004 season . He also coached the very good softball and improved the team by 150% then last years team, and a golf team with the many good golfers that are still on the team. Taking the place of coach Crowder next year will be coach MICAH RUEHLING the schools Tennis coach. Coach Ruehling had a very good year in tennis by taking the boys tennis team deep into the post-season.
And a personal note to Coach Crowder it was fun having you as my golf coach for the last two years and thanks for giving me personally a chance to play on the High School level. From the Rhea County Golf Team We'll miss you Dawg; good luck at your new job and if you got time come around and see us next year.
Good Luck Coach Crowder.
The only people that like your coach are from Rhea County. Nobody likes this guy he's an arrogant jerk, and it was great watching his b-ball team flop this season. A couple of good players can make nebody look like a good coach!! Coach Crowder isn't all he's cracked up to be!!!

Not necessarily. If we lose to Warren County and win the rest of our region games, we will still be region champs. That is if WC finishes towards the bottom, which is a pretty safe bet. Remember in 02 when CCHS was en route to the region championship and CHS had one loss to Coffee County? Cookeville's only loss of the region came from the second to last place team. We then beat every other team in the region, includung the big bad 7-0 Jets, therefore crowning us region champs. So maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing if we lost to Warren or Coffee early in the season. It may be an eye opener for the Cavs.
I wish the loss to Warren or Coffey would come!! then you'd see what that would do to the highly touted Cavs.

This region will once again be top heavy with Lincoln County and Cookeville battling it out for the top spot( I think Cookeville should win that battle.) After that it gets a little cloudy. I think Franklin County and Coffee County should round out the playoffs, but I do see the possibiliity that it could be the other two teams. Should be a more competitive region this year especially teams 3-6. If FC gets quality play from its Juniors or if Coffee County can find a viable FB or open it up for their Qb then one of those two could sneak into the top spot.
The interesting thing about high school football is that it only takes one game to make our top heavy region less top heavy. For instance if the big bad CHS Cavaliers show up one friday night thinking all they have to do is show up and they lose to maybe Warren County or Cumberland County everything changes in a hurry. It only takes one bad game to knock the top out of the top heavy region 3-5a thumb

Like I said there are parts of her game that could be better, but she can drill the ball from the tee!!! (She's the best we've got) here at CC

Hey man you're way to nice!! It's almost impossible to start a good debate in here with you!!

It's really quiet in here!!! so I guess everyone agrees with my sentiment that the Lady Jet Golf team is graced with one of the top talents in the state

radiojet u should keep your mouth shut,as i recall the jets pretty much are next to last
in the dist. every year.warren co struggles could become any teams, the kids there i'll
bet are some hard working young men that need to have a pat on the back not
cut down .Iam sure your not the best play by play guy.talk positive about football
and life will treat u kind
whoa! I wasn't cutting down kids I was cutting down a program run by professional adults. We may not be impressing many people here in CC, but at least we can win 1 or 2 games a year. I was just trying to cut down the hype of WC within this board. I don't want anybody gettin there hopes up!

We've got a couple of good individuals up here on the mountain in CC. But as a whole the girls golf team may be a bit weak. We do however have a new coach, but what difference is that going to make. High School Golf coaches in Tennessee are just a formality. They can't even coach during the matches due to TSSAA rules. but htat's another subject. Cumberland has one bright spot in it's rebuilding girls golf program, and that's Senior Katie Brown. Katie's a power off the tee, and if she gets her short game going she's tops in Tennessee!! thumb

105.7 Lost me when they stoped broadcasting Rockwood and went to Cumberling Co.
ya, but those guys that do the games on SOUTH are really great!! Don't ya think???

These little scrimages don't mean a thing! Warren Co. is the laughing stock of Tennessee high school football. They have been for years! the only thing you have to worry about when playing WC is how much fun the media is going to have with the team that WC finally beats. It would be sort of like the passing of the LOSER torch

I've heard good things about pancke, but I don't think she's invincible! Golf is just like any other sport--- There's a reason the matches are played thumb

Warren County isn't going to surpise anybody this season! They've got a good QB and that is all. One good player is hardly enough to dave one of tennessee's most depresing football programs. and sure, cookeville is going to be good this season(their Football team is the size of a small army) , but don't count out the boys from cumberland county. It's going to be a bit different this season with nobody playing both ways. The Jets have got a much bigger team this year as far as numbers go and that could make all the difference.

I'll say once more that there's no doubt RB deserved to be in Memphis. However, I also feel that it is encouraging for Lady Jet fans that their team was barely eliminated by the state champs!!!!!

Red Bank has some good hitting and pitching. At the right time, they are also playing good defense. Beech is a little one-dimensional.
Troglin is scattering hits... bending without breaking. Despite facing great pitching, Red Bank is also getting their hits. They have as solid a top 5 in the order as anyone, anywhere.
Good Luck to Red Bank!
This is why it is so hard to get out of District 5 and 6. For the past 3 years, the AAA state chapionship has been either District 5 or 6 or both. Red Bank, Soddy, and Cumberland. The road to the state goes through all 3.
Best wishes to the Lady Lions!
I told you guys district 5 wasn't to shabby!!! My LAdy Jets should have beaten the same Red BAnk Team that is going to play for a state title!! Now guys what does that tell ya????

Well I am a blue angel and we played hard ball and we are 9 and 10 year olds. We only practice once a week. What other team do you see as good as ours that doesn't practice all the time. It's just a game but we always want to win. The refs were horrible and we've played in two other tournaments and we've never complained before. We work hard to win each ballgame, too hard to get cheated out of it. Thanks this is radiojet's lil sis. Blue Angel and we will be playing in Cookville this weekend and we are going to win. Thanks!

I'm not trying to be a sore loser, but the game against the pride was officiated poorly, and it was much closer than the score will tell. ---The Angels had to foul toward the end of the game!!! they were within 8 in the 4th quarter! thumb

Everyone who's played, coached, or just watched a game involving Coach Crowder I'm sure would agree!!!
