point in fact.....Morristown East stunned alot of people who I notice havent commented. This missing their conference POY and their starting point guard playing a 2 because of a level 3 ankle sprain. Proud of the Lady Canes. There is some great talent in Murfreesboro this year. God speed to all the teams.

really?????the only thing missing from a post like this is (nah nah nanah nah) i'm takin my toys and goin home. Why disgrace the Seymour team and hard workiing players with posts like this. I was going to respond with all that the girls for East has overcome to reach this accomplishment. But it is theirs earned and paid for. Good luck and play hard against SH tomorrow!!!!

I would say that everyone is a little exhausted and catching their breath from districts. Plus some of the teams are so beat up with injuries its kinda hard to predict. Everyone will have a better handle on it after tommorrow. The only runaway game (on paper) should be the Science Hill game but in region play crazier things have happened.

yes please send up prayers for Leslie Berquist (knee) As to what happened in the game........I couldnt tell ya. They havent played well the last 2 to 3 games but played hard enough to win just couldnt pull it off last night.

calm down sweet pea.......math? really? I was making argument for East being legitimate for this thread. And if foul trouble and turnovers are part of the game then so is players being out due to injury and illness as the last guy injected. I was at the game also or I wouldnt use it as reference.

Bradley Central is Morristown Easts only loss and East was up by as much as 12 before an on-set of foul trouble and turnovers early in 4th . East has won most of their games with a 20+ margin playing 11 deep and in a few games all 14. They are averaging 4 in double figure w/ average of 8 making box score.

East, Seymour and Cocke are all in the Landair classic(formerly Greenbank) in Greeneville next week. East squares off with Mt Juliet first round. Science Hill is in opposite part of bracket w/ Bob Jones (Ala.) for their first match. top 4 teams are in games 2 and 4 and in opposite ends of bracket. The winners of these two games should be in championship. This is a great lineup of teams and should make for an exciting tournament.
