i think they can win it all they beat mapelwood without any of there big men playing so i think they can win it all. it really all comes down to if mapelwood lets cantrell play in the tournament then who knows that kids heart is amazing and he has game to along with it.

Antioch looks like the team to beat this year they just beat mapelwood and cantrell played for the first half. Antioch beat them and they where missing there 2 top inside players but i must say it will come down to these teams again. Terrance Davis and Zellburg Gleaves where the top players for Antioch and Justin was really good for mapelwood

i like the three from ensworth and have seen them play on many occasions and i am not seeing what the fuss is all about if they where playing ball in metro they would help there respective teams but they would be no savior last year as good as tavares was he still had trouble with terrance davis from antioch and terrance outplayed him every time they played last year and in the summer miles is a solid player quick first step very active but i know of a few players in metro that have given him a lot of problems Gary i think will be the best out of the three and i have seen kids out play him as well. I just think the overall talent is down and it happens like that every now and then in metro middle school ball is horrible this year too.

Snelling looks pretty good i think last friday was his first game he had a double double the big kid from mcgavock played well against him though Pearl Chin is horrible i dont think a kid from there team will make varsity next year but i must say they hustle there butt off

does anybody know how overton,hillsboro,hillwood abd who is east lit best players i keep hearing that they hustle and stay in games they just cant pull em out. If antioch can get there post player back i beleive they will win the city they by far have the best guards. At most schools Terrance would be playing varstiy but all that talent on there varsity team they left him down to play freshmen.

i must agree freshmen ball is way down i have seen glenclif antioch and stratford out of those teams Antioch is the best but they just lost to glencliff last night but antioch is missing 2 starting post men. all of the schools in the city are down. Startford just has one player that shoots for them antioch killed them. What is the problem in the city??????????????????

Who do these kids play aau with. Havent never heard of them but seem like they may be real good.

Cantrell by far is the best freshmen in the city he plays hard and he knows the game. Also his defense is very strong he will lead this team some kind of championship but not this year but there future is very bright with him.

good rankings gomab but i think josh henley is way to low and kyle upton is the best pure point guard in that class in metro and he is not on the list. Don woods will also i thought a little low but overall the rankings where pretty good.

Wesley Tate from Pope John Paul he is very good 6'2 or 6'3 can play inside and outside very good jump shoot look out for him he is also playing varsity

the kids from antioch are Terrance Davis Zellbuge Gleaves Corey Britton and they also have a few good big men. Also mapelwood has Marcus Cantrell and Justin Snelling

Anybody know what these teams look like the Memphis Grizzlies,Memphis Idlewild Wildcats.Jay Hawks,and Nashville Stallions. Most of them will be in the div. 2 state tournament.

i will have to agree with AFO the talent is here to compete but the talent is not here to have all these aau teams with the best boys split up we will never be able to compete on a national level until coaches,and aau programs come together and put together teams because right now the talent is spread too thin. Any body have any ideas i know at the 14 year old level if you would have taken the best players out of metro middle school and put them together you would have probably had enough for 2 good teams but one of those teams would have been real good and both would have been able to compete nationally. but because everybody is split up the only team out of nashville to get a bid to nationals was SE Elite. We need to get most of these boys on one or two different teams and then you will see a change.......
