To be fair, Trey Caruthers and John Jenkins are two totally different players. Trey is more of a slasher, while John is more of a shooter. A great shooter, but a shooter. Trey can play some good defense, and I would not be surprised to see him transfer out of Carson into a bigger school. I dont know that for a fact or anything, but I can see him really excel at Carson Newman and want to go somewhere else. Either way I cannot wait to see John Jenkins at Vandy, or Trey the rest of the season and at Carson Newman with Mandy Mendenhall. They also started there freshman year as well. I know of atleast 5 players that started on the offensive side as freshmen. Perry Horkins, Jeremy Roark, Nathan Ferrell, Zack Douglas, and Travis Stanfield. Conatser, Horkins, Stanfield, and Douglas all played on defense as well.

Yea I heard this kid was great, and looking at his stats he definitely knows how to score. Isn't he like 6'4? Impressive. That is the first upset of the season in district play(imo). Harpeth played Station Camp tonight, but I dont know who won. It looks like Station Camp won, and John Jenkins put up 57. Well I have not seen a lot of Harpeth ball yet, but from the few games I have seen there is one freshman that has stood out to me. Andrew McWright, he is a tall lanky freshman, who plays very good defense and he has a good basketball I.Q. This kid will probably grow to be about 6'3 or 6'4, and with a lot of hardwork, and staying under Wilson's wing he will be a force in 11aa in a few years. Keep an eye out for him yankees, I know you are looking for a new Harpeth kid to watch. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I agree about the fire power, definitely not as much. But I do think the games will still be very good. They play at Ensworth next Saturday, and I will probably make that game. Seeing how it is so close to our place. Excellent. I know Upperman girls were/are really good, and LA's girls are pretty good as well. I heard there PG number 5(?) will be at Tech next year, but not sure if it is true or not.
