Good post coach! I think your doing the right thing. If you ever get the chance. You need to share with the wrestling community about your wrestler last year and his mothers last wish. That should touch the heart of any fan or parent! BTW- according to how you look at it you came up the top team in the region. Not bad for a team that could not put a full team on the mat at Greenback.

Is he going to the Nationals? Nick will be in your area training, maybe they could get some quality mat time against each other. You know the # of the FHS coach.

BB not a BC hater but it was nice to see your section get quit half way thru the finals. Can U order a card over the net? Is a club or an underground organization? Does the card say "BEware of Bears" or No Bears allowed. BTW-Nice Stats on the other topic board. I thought it was your 152lb year. Tuff lost but he is one, I've enjoyed watching since his freshman year. BTW- Have all of you looked at how many post you have wasted since the 2nd post? TeeRod- It could be looked at either way, your post is correct in all aspects except "I know you are trying to justify Bradley coming up short". It never crossed my mind. Bradley program stands on it's on merits. Never defended it or attacked it. I really didn't think the post would get under the skin of the SD faithful. Again, a fan of the SD programs wrestlers, tourney and feeder program!

Will U being giving them some kid of Bracket if they win. Last year they didn't get anything except the medal for winning!

They have a captive audience and it’s going to get worse every year until they spread the wealth.(send it to other towns) I paid all that dumb parking until Saturday and then parked on campus. It' gets tuff after 3 days of parking, $3.50 soft drinks/popcorn etc. BTW-Would you had rather took 8th or had one of your Senior Studs come home with the gold?

Luckly hes the best 215 in the state D1 because he could not beat Coffey in D2 and I say that sincerely because I do not like D2 wrestling but Nick could not beat Coffee. And do not tell me i have not watched Nick wrestle enough because i watched him at the Soddy tourney and the state and he is not very impressive. And I hate to take anything away from Nick he is now a 2 time state champ but you make him and the rest of the Farragut fans seem like idiots. I apologize to the Farragut fans on here but please have a talk with this guy and try to keep him on his medication. They have triied. Also Soddy won this tournament with hard work and guts. Never said anything different. My oldest son says you have some of the best coaches he's ever worked with or wrestled against . I think if you can get your head out of the glory land clouds. You will see that I apologized and tried to clarify what I was saying. If you don't want to give the other fine wrestlers from Houston, Knox Halls, Hendersonville and ND credit for doing their part then shame on you. I've read all these great post on how the entire SD program worked and I was just one of many who wanted to see y'all win it but to keep up the "He attacked us" routine is just a little sick. Know one will tell you anything Negative that I have ever sad about either program. Go ahead everyone be politically correct. It's the way of our times. It's amazing we all saw the same 215 match but I've seen all kind of different opinions of how many shots etc. It's the same with my original post. I DID NOT POST IT TO SLAM SD OR BRADLEY. No one has got any back points on Nick R. Only 3 wreestlers have made it past the first round.

Only 3 wrestlers have beat Nick in 2 years. 1. Ian of ND last year at the beginning of the season with a great head throw. 2. Collins Hill Senior that stuck Nick when he made a mistake. 3. The #1 ranked kid at the time from Dickson Co last year at the FR Tourney by 1 pt if I'm remembering correctly. Nick is a smart wrestler. I think he could beat Coffee because I've seen him pin kids that wrestled like Coffee. You have 2 undefeated, 2 X State Champs that would be a great match. True the Letner match was not the most exciting match. But from my bias point of view, I blame that on the SD game plan. I'm use to seeing all Nicks matches over in less tha 50 scds or less. I think he has only had 5 matches go the distance this year. (2 against Letner) Sorry, if thats boring to U but to me it was sweet. The BEAST OF THE EAST! (REGION 2)

I think we all do the things U suggested but it was the coaches first time at state as a coach. PLan your work, work your plan! We all know this but things do happen and rules are guide lines that can be modified if it's for the right reason. The TSSAA has made exceptions for one of my childeren in the past. It took time but the made the decision in our favor. The situation with the bite and Seymour could have had the common sense ruled applied. Rules are changed all the time. That's why they are guidelines that commen sense needs to be applied to every now and then. As long as it's the exception.

Mr Reviez needs a training partner for the Nationals. Maybe they can meet on the mat that way or had down to Atlanta for some mat time. All I know is it would been a great match against undefeated 2 x State Champions.

He did step up on an earlier post! My question is what about bad weather or a car accident, flat tire etc. What would happen in those cases if a team was late?

Rabbit- I apologize if my first post was taken as trashing SD. It was not meant in that way. I have enjoyed wrestling against the SD program since we lived in Chatt in 1995. I will not apologize about the Letner comments. They are the same thing I heard from folks for weeks. Letner deserved to be in the finals but I wished he had wrestled, as he is capable. He might have got pined or pined Reviez who will know. BTW- I could have swore I saw Letner show the ref he was going to cut him. I look forward to watching him next year and see what he can really do. They are big boys but it was obvious from the first match at SD that the plan was not to wrestle Reviez. That's fine it's a plan. What else could you do. Everyone else who went after him was pined in the first round. I'm sure the SD coaches were counting on stalling calls. The one that was called was a joke. Congrats to the new Champions.

How did I insult Bradley? And Letner did cut Reviez to give him 1 point. From the Knox Press. Rabbit-Now if you want to talk about our coaches during the lettner match. im prety sure we took 4 shots to reviez's 1 shot. we got zero stalling calls to reviez's 1. we did not cut him in third, we tried to crotch lift him. im not sure what match you are watching when say all we do is stall, but it wasnt the D1 215 match. Everyone knows you have one of the best programs in the state enough about that. The plan for the 215 match was the same boring plan as in the 1st match. The only time Letner did anything was when he was behind. Again not insulting anyones program just giving some credit to the other programs. Get over yourself.
