With the TSSAA regular season winding down rapidly....What are the top games this Friday? Who would you lke to go see? What game will have the Biggest impact???

After the way GP lost to PJP, will Fairview be able to hang with them? The Yellowjackets have a pretty good team, which features a decent defense. What type of game will this be? I also heard that TennesseeSportsNet.Com may cover this game LIVE on the web.

Opening ceremonies will be held Thursday July 28th....Pool play begins at 10AM Friday July 29th. The tourney runs through August 3rd. Tournament is being held at Johnathan D. Hollingsworth Babe Ruth Park in Lewisburg, Tennessee located on Hwy. 50 as you come in from Columbia or I-65 eastward. I dont have a bracket yet...Not sure when Lawrence County plays first game, but I will make another post when I find out for sure.

Lawrence County will represent Tennessee in the 14-year old Babe Ruth Southeastern Regionals beginning July 29th-August 3rd in Lewisburg Tennessee. The game with Manchester was fantastic.....Its was bad someone had to lose. Manchester lost their first game to Lawrence County 14-1 and won 5 straight to get to the championship game Tuesday night at CSCC in Columbia. Congradulations to Manager Mack Brown and his squad on the GREAT run.....You've got a awesome team and I expect you to go far in the S.E. Regionals......Also Congrads to Manager Sam Davis and the Manchester team for your performance. Lawrence County IS one of the best 14 year old teams I've seen in a long time...Yes they are as good. Like most DONT have......L.C. has some depth at pitcher. As we all know, that will get you the trophy.

Severe weather moved through Maury County Thursday night pushing back the opening round of the 14-year old Babe Ruth State Tourney. The games are being played at Columbia State Community Collge. School Sports Radio will broadcast the tournament beginning at 11:40am Saturday morning....Game one Lawrenceburg vs Manchester.
