  1. fulton looked impressive against karns and south-doyle but didnt do much against farragut and mo west. south-doyle looks like they got potential if they put it all together. karns is trying to find guys to step up and fill the void that left last year. mo west is back after a par season last year and will dominate their region. farragut looked good as well with a strong d, still some improvement on the offense. fulton should be ready this season if they get their guys back from injury.

  2. mo west looked good last night and they look like they got a lot of talent. i like their tailback #3. west and farragut played to a 0-0 tie and throughout the whole scrimmage they looked like the two best teams there. coach woods has his team back to make another run in the playoffs. thumb

  3. I know this is about knox area players but  heres a name that better be watched look every week in the prep extra and his name will show up at the top . started some as a freshman and started all last year as a soph should  not be overlooked since team might not be that good  hear he had a couple great camps this summer finished in front of helton in the compition at the furman camp  has the size and speed  6  2 170  40 time  4.6  and still has 2 years left and will stand in the pocket and take the hits  Brad Ramsey at Morristown East

competition at furman doesnt mean anything. they didnt even choose any of central's athletic receivers to be in the competition. they had some of the best times in the combine there. the competition was just a coach's opinion.

  4. Their were only three high schools for tn at the league. JCM franklin and faragut. I dont think that faragut won a game. Franklin either went 2-3 or 3-2 i know that they lost to byrnes high out of south carolina and haltom high out of texas.

JCM went 2-3 with losses to Lousivile Male and Dunbar and stone moutain.  This league was loaded with talent i have never seen so many athletes in my life. Two of the top qbs in the nation were playing in the tournament. not sure who won though.

farragut went 1-4 beating cypress-creek from houston,tx who had already won an adidas 7on7 tournament. they lost to stone mountain 14-6 and to JCM 27-20. not bad for a team that ran the ball 70% of the time last year. byrnes from spartanburg and louisville male i think won their pools. i was impressed with the athletes and competition that was in the tournament and adidas did a great job of managing the event.

  5. i went to the regular season oak ridge- farragut game and gulmire was running over much bigger players left and right. hes one of the most impressive runners ive ever seen play.

spencer had a good game that night with about 170 yards and a TD thumb. but the only time i remember him trucking someone was on his touchdown run. hes got great vision and runs behind his pads and never shies away from a hit. another great OR running back.
