  1. Too bad you play 10 games in a season. Maybe you should have tried to win more. /thread
  2. If you score 0 points in a game, you'll never win.
  3. Chaz went a little off course last week, and forced plays I haven't seen him try to make before. This will no doubt be a VERY tough game, and I'm excited for it.
  4. I'm aware what I picked, and I did so because I don't believe I'm knowledgeable enough to speculate on just two teams. I'm aware what I picked, and I did so because I don't believe I'm knowledgeable enough to speculate on just two teams.
  5. Funny, but no. And I stand by my prediction. Not that east Tennessee ever makes it to the Championship game.
  6. I could see Franklin/Brentwood playing DB/Ooltewah/Oakland.
  7. No way that Centennial holds Gallatin to 7 points. Our defense isn't at that level.
  8. I was immensely impressed with Franklin's running game. Their O-Line did a phenomenal job opening holes, and Ford (in particular) was just a beast to stop.
  9. Centennial's speed is virtually unmatched at the state level. The problem is that they lack discipline at times, especially in the defensive front 7. When you look at the big plays Chaz makes, it often comes from broken plays. Franklin exploited that, and really shut Chaz down for the entire game.
  10. Centennial's kicker, Austin Bass, has hit 75% of his kickoffs for touchback all year, including one starting from the 25 in the Franklin game.
  11. Franklin has an extremely disciplined team. They will roll in this game.
  12. Oh, there's no doubt that Franklin ran the ball phenomenally against the Cougars. I was merely saying that it would've been more of a challenge had the average starting position for Franklin in the 2nd half not been at midfield.
  13. E tu, Wingman? /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  14. Does Gallatin have a CB or Safety tall enough to guard Drew Kelly?
  15. We still have an opportunity to make history, only now it's in the playoffs. There are no excuses for the loss. It happened, and we move on. I'm sure both of our teams will lose one more game before the end of this year. Don't worry, we take our losses in stride, because we know what it's like to be at the bottom. This season has been amazing so far, and we hope it can continue past next Friday
  16. I would actually beg to differ. After the initial two drives, Centennial's defense played very well against Franklin, but three 2nd half interceptions at midfield made it tough for the Cougar D to make any stops on such a short field. Yes, they did let up some unacceptable big plays (especially in the run game), but it was turnovers that doomed the Cougars tonight, not defense. Anyone got any info on Gallatin?
  17. Alright, folks. Here we go, the playoffs are here. Gallatin (8-2) comes off a close win against McGavock, and Centennial (7-3) enters into this game after losing to rival Franklin. Thoughts? As far as history goes, Centennial traveled to Gallatin in November of '02, and the Green Wave came out on top that time (I believe the final was 24-14). I remember how great both crowds were, and I expect nothing less this time.
  18. When I left with less than 4 minutes left, Franklin was ahead 35-14. Hats off to the Rebels, they took it to us in the 2nd half. Chaz threw 3 interceptions, all at midfield, and all of them converted for touchdowns. Cougars, lets get ready for Gallatin!
  19. Yeah, he was playing at wideout last week, and I noticed his age and was impressed. It'd be the smart thing to do. Look at how Chaz has progressed from his freshman season until now.
  20. Oh, I don't have any doubt that Chaz has been the best QB in the school's history (I believe Phillip Bates was good simply because of his athletic prowess as well). I've never seen a Centennial team make such big plays on a regular basis. It's a relief, and I'm hoping Tony Kemp can continue that next year as well.
  21. Sorry, I was too busy trying to decipher your misspellings. I'd argue that 2003 was the best team, and as we went to the 2nd round and lost by one point to Hendersonville, stats back me up.
