Everybody forgets Oldfield. #raisedinalcoa
Pretty much the same family's. And I should know!

Congratulations Fighting Irish!
-
Yea since 2010 in state championship games Quad 1 is 2-0 vs middle tn teams with 2 blow outs. 2011 Greeneville beat Maplewood 37-0 and in 2013 Fulton beat Giles 54-14.
Make that THREE!
-
If u say so. PC beating themselves again today. Sorry pulling for all Mid State teams.
This!
-
so what your saying is that 90% if your players come from inside your boundaries and you would still be a force in 2a but not 3a. Those 10 or 15 that you would lose must be key players. Just an observation.
That's not what he said...he said that the best players have always come from the city, but the enrollment would put the at the middle of 2a, not that they would not still opt to play up...IJS

Imagine how good the defense could have been if Charles Jefferson would have come to Alcoa instead of Ridgemont.
Crush by Jefferson! Annihilation by Jefferson! Decapitation by Jefferson!!
-
It's arguably the best defense we've ever had. D-lines like that don't come around very often, even at Alcoa.
They'll be tough to replace.
True!
-
How's 2nd place in Blount County feel?
Not as bad as everyone "not" from Blount county thinks!
-
They would win 5A and you would still be a troll!
This! +1

600 x 1.8 is 1080, which is not 2a, 3a, or 4a, instead it's 5a. I happen to know that kohls is having a sale on men's pants, maybe you could encourage coach Rankin to buy a pair.
Still waiting on facts when it comes to Alcoa, for whom the multiplier does not apply. if it did, Alcoa would comply. Just another hater...bye Felicia!
-
So by being a new member to the forum I'm a suspect? Talk about hate. Facts are facts
You have been given facts that you refuse to accept. Alcoa is a 2A school playing up in 3A and schedules the top 6A team in the state every year. Those are facts!
-
Being a centennial cougar I don't see us playing Alcoa, but I want this injustice of playing in an easier league, just to go home with a trophy to end. I hope one day they put their man pants on.
This post really makes no sense at all. Easier league? Your 14 posts make you real suspect!

Alcoa is about as rural as there is. Outside the plant and airport, there isn't much else.
This! And I should know because I'm from the 13!
-
Hater's gone Hate, that was too funny, he ain't got to say congratulations, ijs!!!! #tornadoesrunthis
Hey cuz, long time since i've seen you on the T
-
If Alcoa is this good at football why don't they go up a division considering they would be fine with an open zone recruiting
uh hmmmmmmm they did!
-
I don't see a 21 point loss.
Very, very , very close!
-
Hope Tornadoes, Rebels, Cherokees, Irish, and Bears Sweep !!!!!
+2

CPA is really good and had put down the 4a championship representatives but Alcoa's d line is going to cause havoc for them. Alcoa wins 28-14 ending their 2 year scoring drought against CPA. Poon squad will be flying high.
Two years???
-
Pretty sure most expected alcoa to win this game last year too. Just saying.
I didn't, especially how much they ran my nephew the previous games. I told my family, if that was the game plan going into the championship game, Alcoa would likely lose since I was sure that CPA would game plan to stop #2.

Actually, if it's in print its libel. Slander is the spoken word.

No offense taken, and I never stopped being calm in the exchanges on this thread, unlike some others who posted here. I was simply pointing out that if one side gives it out, there shouldn't be any surprise if they get a little back. I doubt that's anything that surprised or bothered you! But some folks don't see it that way... I think I made my point, and I certainly understand yours! Good luck the rest of the way. As always, win or lose, I enjoyed my trip to Goddard Field, and look forward to the next time these two meet, whenever that may be.
Good luck to the Warriors and God bless!

Have a sense of humor my friend. I mean, there was a thread calling CAK cake and Webb Jr. in "the title alone," I assume those were to be funny, I would hope you'd take this one the same way. Or is it only a friendly ribbing if an Alcoa supporter posts it?
Calm down...did you not notice the smiling "thumbs up" emoticon? Believe me, if I was bent out of shape about the title I would have stated it in my comments. Besides, I'm one of those Alcoa fans that actually suited up and played our big brothers across the creek
-
This thread started out in the pits and couldn't climb out.
The title alone....
-
I thought CAK played hard. Their defense is improved. They just ran into a brick wall. I have watched Alcoa for over 40 years. This is their most impressive defense yet in my opinion. I know this years Dline doesn't have a player like Brandon Warren,Rae Sykes or Tyler Robinson but I like this Dline better. Warren,Sykes and Robinson took plays off. These Dlinemen this year bring it every play.
No team in the state would score a lot on Alcoa. This is what impresses me about Alcoa's defense. Maryville has lit up every team they played besides Alcoa. Maryville scored 50 by halftime vs Heritage,Scored 49 on a very good Fulton team that probably win 4A,Scored 38 by halftime vs Science Hill,35 by halftime vs Jefferson County,49 by halftime vs Dobyns Bennett,27 by halftime vs Bearden,35 by halftime vs William Blount and 28 by halftime vs Bradley Central. Maryville has a great offensive team loaded with talent. Against Alcoa Maryville scored 20 points and only had around 250yds. Every point and hard was hard earned. Maryville scrapped their way to get those 20 points.
Good luck to those other 3A teams trying to score against Alcoa. You are going to need it.
Hey Ron how have you been?
