Way to go Cyclones I'm just as proud of you as I would be if we went 15-0........... We got a great bunch of kids on this team and you all are champions in my book

true....... i would like to see roper ran out of town, and not necessary because of the deal with Ed. since i dont know both sides of the story i want pass any judgement on that issue, but i do feel like there is more than meets eye on that. and i think elizabethton needs to wake up places to eat is not going to increase our population. we need some good paying jobs here to bring people in which would increase our enrollment. or like you said we are AA bound. which too me would be a disgrace

I am sure of this that coach pless and gang will have the troops ready, we are battle tested, we have some things to prove, the kids and coaching staff is not happy with the 5-5 record. we have never lost to boone, some of the kids i have talked to do not want to be known as the first team to loose to them... we will be ready i say cyclones 34 boone 12.............

Winning is expected here and nothing less should be put up with... but if the director of schools is allowed to start charging the tution like he wants EHS will become nothing but a red headed step child so to speak. I would love to see from the standpoint of altheltics some consolidating of some schools in the city and county. even it meant a change of school colors and nickname so be it... i want elizabethton on top in the division and would love to see us become a power in all sports through out the state.

Good luck is all i will say......... they along with a few other teams in the area need to playing in 3a to be more competetive year in and out.

It is just a bad school system in some areas and it starts with Roper About the only thing I will agree with you on...... I wish he (Roper) could be replaced myself. Send him back to Bama on the Big Orange Express!---lol

well im sorry you would rather stay home and listen to the game on the radio, bottom line is these kids need all the support they can get win or lose. I'll be there for every game and wear my orange and black and wear it proudly. I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe you or anybody else for that matter is a true cyclone fan that would rather stay home and listen to WBEJ and say seeing them play is not worth paying the $5 for. Bet you would be standing by the team if they was 7-0, 5-2, 4-3............. I have a name for fans like you...."FAIRWEATHER FAN"

the kids played their hearts out like you have said... i am very proud of all, disapointed in some of the fans in the way they like to run their mouths... Gosh i wish we would scrap the 3 man front! Thats my only grip...... Lets go Cyclones keep your heads up and have a good week of practice and bring home a "W" this week

LOL we are arent we..... gosh i was just venting couldnt believe what his answer was, and the way he said it was WOW you would of thought i did some crime....lol and yes you are right about everything you said above

dang how times have changed................... my daughter is in the band they have the first competition this saturday. some of the band kids have to be on the practice field at 9am saturday morning, with the rest of band practicing from 11am-to-1pm they load up and leave the school at 230. I made this offer to mr. Elliot the band director... Me and wife was going to feed the kids 27 pizzas enough for 3 slices per kid and drinks b4 they left... He informed me they didnt have time to eat b4 they left but the thing that gets me is he said they was going to stop on the way and get fast food.... geez passing up on free food blows my mind. I never been a big fan of him especially on friday nights because i think he could represent the school by showing a little more school spirit during the games than he allows the band to do.... guess im venting lol....

ok........ yes should be a good game. i dont think SS will blow us out like alot of folks seem to think either...

That sounds very good.... I hope we come out friday with a lot of fire and play like we are capable of doing. I think last week just may have given these the confidence they were needing. My one concern is that 3 man front... gosh i wish we would come out in something else and shock their offense
