CGHS PLAYER #1

We are coming off a big win...Took a lot to get the job done but we stuck in there and got it done..We are not lookin by TW by any means..We know any given team can beat you at any given time...We play each game a week at a time and prepare for each game one week at a time..This should be a pretty good game..It is our homecomin off a 3 road stretch...Everyone should come out and support there Panters.. Panther Pride!

I agree with u shotdoc...This is goin to be a hard fought game..The team that exicutes the best and plays the best D will win this game...We are not satisfied where we are..We know we still have a long way to go..We are takin each week at a time..U cant ever get ahead of urself...I hear HV has some good quick recievers and the qb has a good arm..Our DB's and LB's are playin very well right now...WE will have to be on the top of our game Friday..One breakdown can change everything...But like ive said the team that makes the least mistakes and plays the best D will win this game...Im not makin any prediction..U have to do everything on the field...This will be a GREAT game... keepin that in mind i just wanted to say that i was wanting a better game out of jared liles he made a statement directly at ryan hoskins to get a good look at the front of his jersey because all that he was going to see was the back of his jersey. well jared this is true when ryan threw all over u friday all he seen was the back of your jersey chasing the ball into the endzone. If u are going to run your mouth at least have something to show for it or back it up i mean come on.

No doubt this will be a good game...Big rivalry,living in Tazewell i know how big it is..The only thing is the Chuckey Doak Vs CG game wasnt as close as it appears...It was a blow out actually..It was 40-12 at half...Got up to 47-12 in the 3rd quarter and we called off the dogs and put young guys in...WE showed we did have a run game..CG rushed for about 250 yards and threw for around 200...A lot of the long runs were called back..Sophomore Brad Beason had a 96 yarder called back...He finished with I believe 161 yards on 7 carries and a TD...CG is goin to be very intense in this game,especially on the defensive side...This will be a huge game...Its almost here

so everyone thought we could not beat them and stop the running game.We win 32-14 hold them to 90 yards rushin and us having 94.So we stopped there run game even tho were not suppose to be able to.We made them do sumthin they do not want to do and try to pass.Our secondary held strong having 2 interceptions.Our front 7 got down hill to the ball,and they just gave up.They couldnt do anything against us.We took them out of their game,of runnin the ball.We came out and stopped them on the first drive and we got the ball and scored the first points of the game.It got 18-14 our lead at the half,and we just ran away with it.Ending the game at 32-14 Cumberland Gap win.So if you have any thoughts,leave em.
