The numbers aren't there. Players are quiting left and right. The only chance Clinton has this year is the fact the area teams are down some too with so many seniors on some of the power houses. If Clinton doesn't grab a few winners this season it's back to 0 and what ever. Maybe but they didn't beat AC. Look at the 2 schools and the 2 programs you can't honestly say AC is not that special. Clintons program is as old as the town and it is a dying breed.

Why are there some people around the area that think like this? because Clinton is an actual city and wasnt built less than 30 years ago they should stop classes and join AC Clinton was 2-8 but AC was 4-6 they beat Clinton but they didnt win a championship or even make the playoffs na Clinton will still be there next year and have a team and if they win the opener, which is real doable things can get better from there just like the season the problem starts with AC

AC is kinda new but it isnt that special i hope everybody doesnt have that point of view sounds like the coaches just need to really get the numbers right, they need players, they have them, in this slump there in they still could have easily, easily beaten AC last year. I think Clinton just needs to stay with it and they could jumpstart 07 with a winnable game vrs AC at home and some good things could happen from there

i agree that maryville is one of the great football programs in the state, 2 weeks ago their rugby team played in the state championship game against brentwood and lost 52-7. i know that we cannot compare rugby to football but i don't believe maryville will be walking away with a lot of gold balls in 5a football.

It seems like everywhere I look in every magazine Brandan Wright's name is there. Out of all the players to come out of the state is he the best out of highschool? He is averaging close to a triple double every night. It seems like not only does he dominate on his highschool team but also on his aau team and at the all-american camps. Give me your opinion.
