This would be the region final if Oakland would have taken care of business. But cannnot change that now and this young SCHS team for them to go where no one said they had a chance to go was going to have win a region semifinal game and it might as well be against Oakland that they step up and show the Boro what they are capable of. This game will surpise the heck out of me if it is a double figures margin for either team as many have already predicted. SCHS has to limit second chance scoring for OAK and get back on defense to limit OAK transition and take advantage of its own transition oppurtunities. Got a feeling with Oakland sagging D that the Eagles will play well. Do that and SCHS has a chance.

All valid points and yes #4 does have a chance at SCHS IF that is SCHS wins tomorrow. SCHS has 22 wins also with a tough schedule. They have competed well against 7AAA top teams besides OAK spliting with RIV and BLACK beat RIV on their court and getting beat by Black on a last second shot on their court. ALAS we all should take it one at a time. Agreed that know one can look past another at this point.

No one will argue with the fact that 8AAA is weaker, and at this point the district thing really doesnt matter, but with a win tomorrow and most likely one by Oakland, they both will be on opposite ends of the bracket in the region. And despite their district SCHS has played a tough schedule. SCHS has as good of chance of ending up in the region final as anybody. They may not be at Oakland's level, but dont count this team out. Remember they split with Blackman and Riverdale this year. This was considered to be a MAJOR rebuilding year after losing 7 players from last years team. It would be unwise to overlook them and after they beat Riverdale and Blackman, I can guarantee 7AAA coaches will not.

First of all I am not a parent and seconf this aint got nothing to do with what goes on off the court so dont start saying that it does because it abosolutley has nothing to with that. Obviously Cass has had to go through his share of difficulties off the court, so has Robby. With all that said there is no getting around that there was an injustice done here. I dont care what you say and what the argument MJUHB when the game is between the lines Cass did not deserve the award, Robby did. Case closed/ And no you are wrong scbad24 SCHS would not have had the kind of year they have had without Robby.

seems to be something against SCHS and maybe their needs to be more of a def. of who an MVP is and what that means. Obviously Rowland fits that criteria more than anyone else even though he was not the leading scorer in the league or even on his team. But his leadership, defense, rebounding, etc. is and was the main catalyst for this young team to have the type of season they have had. Maybe they should have a separate award for best player or most outstanding player or whatever and I am not sure who won MVP would have even deserved it then. Its not all about the points, but I guess some think it is. Just blows my mind.

TOTALLY AGREED. Seems to be about who scored the most points for a team with a losing record noless and beaten twice by SCHS. DOes not surprise me though last year two of the top four finalists for Mr Basketaball in the state were from SCHS and yet they had to share MVP of the district with Williams.

what the in your face tough D style? Kind of reminds me of another team in your district that went undeafeated. And they may not have ONE true go to guy but there are 3 or 4 guys who can be counted on down the stretch and who cares if they are young?
