I know that USJ can't help who they play, but I believe you could take a local Little League team to play Memphis Mitchell in baseball and it would be a competitive game. Now if we are talking football or basketball it would be a different story. There was not an easier route than the route USJ had to get to the state tournament... Check it and try arguing with me.... USJ is a very good team, and will compete for a title, but come on, there has got to be a way to make it more challenging for a state tournament bid......

I've been watching Henry County baseball for a while, and I have noticed this assistant coach doing an excellent job for them..... I believe that he is ready to take over the reigns for a good program.... Can anyone give me some more info. on this guy...

well just chalk it up,,,,mitchell by 40 in the semis over goodpasture,,,,,, here ill just tell you who is going to be in the finals,,,,no middle or east teams,,,,A union city vs humboldt AA mitchell vs either liberty or haywood AAA hamilton vs raleigh egypt

it is not a blind draw,,,,,why would you eliminate a bolivar or mitchell to play a goodpasture, which is a below average team,,,,,,there needs to be some kind of seeding,,,,,,,,,,

It makes no sense to eliminate either Mitchell or Bolivar to face a team such as Knoxville Catholic or Goodpasture. Something has to change. Either Catholic or Goodpasture are about to experience something Friday that they will never forget. Maybe the talent in Middle and East TN will improve in AAA, because it is brutal right now. That is all that they had......Yeah i could line someone up and hand the ball to them every time, and yes they would accumulate a whole lot of yards like Cunningham did.... Great year, not taking anything away from him.....But don't tell me one of the best backfields is going to get beat first round in the playoffs to FA.... How many yards did the Gibson County quarterback account for....Not many.....Their game was Cunningham,,, and like I said if that is your game,,,, yes you are going to rack up some yards,,,,,, I'm sorry, but don't tell me that Lake County or Gibson County has one of the best backfields around.....

The only reason that this topic is on here is because some parent is mad because their son is not playing because he does not have the talent right now that he needs to be stepping on the field, and they think that he does.....Give me a break....If you don't have it,,,you don't have it.......Deal with it...... Tell them to work harder,,,,and get bigger, stronger, and faster, and the playing time will come......Let the coach do his job, and you sit and watch....

Think of someone like Lexington, Huntingdon, or maybe even Westview, but don't put Lake County in the same breath as these teams from now on out......

This is ridiculous!!!! In my opinion it would be idiotic to play..... First of all you would get hurt really bad, if not killed..... Give me a break..... I would love to see some girl at linebacker and see one of the areas best fullbacks or tailbacks come through and make her quit on the spot after getting the crap knocked out of her.... I don't care who you are, you cannot compete with guys who are benching 300 plus, squating 400 plus and clinging 250 plus..... If you want some, strap on those pads and see how long that you last...... If you are a girl thinking about playing please think twice about it, or don't think at all about it........You will get killed.......I'm out.....

Yes, you are wrong about me..... I'm not bashing anyone on here.... All that I am saying is that you should go out during every practice, game, etc. etc. etc. and give it all you got.... It is something that you are suppose to do......If you are not doing that, you should go ahead and turn in the jersey...... I'm just one that feels like it is your duty and your job to go out give it all you have and come back, look in the mirror at yourself and say I did everything that I could and I have no regrets.....This goes for everything in life,,,,not only sports....... Boy he works hard.....You know what,,,,you are suppose to.......Most kids don't know what they have inside themself because they have never really worked as hard as they can,,,,and do not know what they are capable of doing........ And this my friend can get you to the next level no matter where you are playing....You will stand out if you work hard..........
