  3. Quick programming note:

The game will be broadcast on Oldies 1420 Classic KSR tonight beginning at 7:15PM. If you're not in the immediate downtown Pulaski area, I doubt you'll have great reception.

That being said, the easiest way to listen to the game is to listen ONLINE. Just click the link for '1420 AM'.

  4. The WKSR Coaches Corner Show heard on 98.3WKSR on Friday mornings will also be webcast on UStream tomorrow morning.

Get a live video look-in at Coach O'Connor, Wade Neely, and Steve Pierce as they break down tomorrow night's action in Lawrence County.

If you wish, you may go ahead and begin following the Coaches Show on UStream HERE.

Tomorrow's show is expected to begin at 8:15AM.

  5. Good report Wade.Good job Friday Night!Giles co. keeps the bell.Too bad about your Wolverines!

Michigan will be back. Giles County was down a bit early in the 2000s, too and I'd say they rebounded nicely. :)

Thanks for the kind words. We were blessed to call an absolute whale of a first ballgame at the Brickyard. If the Cowbell game is anywhere near as exciting, we'll have another dandy on our hands.

REMINDER: This Friday's game is broadcast on 98.3FM. Unless you're in Pulaski, easiest way to tune in is to log onto WKSR.com and click 'LISTEN NOW' and follow the link to the FM.

  6. Very excited for the September 16th collision between these two rivals.

I'm obviously a tad biased and I don't know their full broadcast schedule, but I'd venture to say this will be one of WUXP's biggest telecasts all season.

  7. Is Giles Co. playing in any jamborees this year. They usually play Lincoln Co. in a jamboree at Marshall Co.

I was told that Friday's session @ Lincoln County would be an all day event (practice early, scrimmage late).

No details on Franklin County session yet. I'll probably know something after practice tonight/tomorrow.

  8. If its not FACT and some source told you.Shouldn't you know for sure before posting it.Especially on Wksr.com.

    Bobcat,

I appreciate your concern and you are entitled to your opinion. However when I use the term "source" please understand that I'm not just talking about something I overheard from a conversation on the street. I am referring to someone with extensive knowledge of the situation up in Franklin.

Again, thank you for your concern and if there's ever anything I can do for you, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Wade

  9. Wade, I'm sure you will do a outstanding job. Are you going to do color and play by play? If not who is your side kick?

I will be doing play-by-play this fall. Longtime WKSR personality Tom Pardon was originally tabbed to be my color man. Tragically, his passing has created an opening for the position. We are hoping to fill it very soon.
