How is the region winnable?  GP is usually UP one year and down the next.  With Waggoner or without Waggoner I see GP having a down year this coming season.  

If Prep didn't win the title, Union City would've won it all. Let's stop with all the complaining if you knew going into the State Championship tournament that prep was going to be in it.  Congrads, Preps!

One of the worst officiated games I've ever been affiliated with .  But can't blame the refs for the mistakes of our players but I think if AE was allowed to play like the other teams in the state tournament, then it would've been a closer game and maybe even a different outcome.  

GP was a senior led team last year, what all do they have coming back?  What names are being thrown around for the GP job?

Don't overlook my Roadrunners of Austin East.   They love playing teams like Douglass.  See ya Thursday, BEEP BEEP!

Jackie's Dream isn't located by AE anymore and Pizza Palace ran out of pizza sauce so that was the hold up.  Why don't you ask KCS what the hold up was.  

And since everybody had so much to say during this coaching search make sure you all come back during the season and make sure AE vs ….. is on 27 pages like this one is

Call Knox County Schools and ask what the hold up is.  Like I've stated previously, he's already met with the team, been in the community lobbying for his program, been at the basketball games, etc... Its a done deal in AE eyes (Community and School) but as usual KCS always got something to say or do when it comes to AE.. They're trying their best to closed AE down like they did Rule (I would've been a GOLDEN BEAR so I'm still mad at that)

With all the new apartments being built in Blount County close to Alcoa, there's no way those numbers are correct.  Like I said, stand at the door with a counter and I bet its more than you all turned in .  

Another thing AE has won 3-4 games the last 4 years however before that we averaged 8-9 wins so don't think AE is just a 3-4 win school.

Just a Fan, you need to stay just that, JUST A FAN because you're coming on this thread posting stuff about a school not wanting to compete against Alcoa is so funny to me.  Not once have I said AE wasn't wanting to compete against Alcoa, I have post that IF Alcoa move up, AE will probably be the only school that would continue playing them yearly.  Yes, its been lopsided lately but AE is ONE SCHOOL that isn't SCARED to PLAY nor COMPETE against AE.  We all know that the 3A title goes through Alcoa and we love that!  As the saying goes, "To be the champ, you must beat the CHAMP!"   AE is looking to do that in every aspects of the game.  and once again, IDC if your kids attend ALCOA or not, THERE ARE MORE THAN 683, 700, 710 whatever your saying goes to that school.  Now recruiting, yall been doing that for years, ask Carter High about that.  Ask the ones from South Doyle.  Ask the out of towners that all of something enroll at Alcoa.  Alcoa is starting to get mad because there's a new recruiter in Knoxville, that's out recruiting yall now.  But I'm going to stand on my word, there's more than 700 students in that building.  I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU ALL SAY!

No official MEDIA announcement has been made however, everyone in the AE camp knows its going to happen its just outsiders stating its not happening.  He has met with the players, he's at their workouts, he's at the basketball games, he's showing his face and wearing AE attire so its official on our end but not official through the media outlets besides Packer.  Just know we good at AE.

Just remember he won the last one as a coach of AE.  I think he will be good for AE and aye, AE is probably the only school that will LITERALLY punch Alcoa in the face.  With that said, AE not running from Alcoa, its just there's more than 683 students in that building like they're reporting.

I don't believe those numbers, there's got to be more than 682 students that's present in that building.  someone is padding numbers just like they way they recruit and saying its legal.

He may not win it his first year but year 2 Alcoa may/SHOULD be in a different region than AE.  I think AE will be moving back down to 2A and Alcoa should be moving up to 4A or 5A
