In a rematch of last week's District 4AAA final, Farragut got some revenge on Maryville by winning the Region crown 3-1. Kelsey Benorden was Region MVP and played a strong game. The Lady Rebels made too many mistakes to deserve the win. For the second year in a row, Farragut will host a sub-state match, and Maryville will travel up I-81...probably facing Sullivan South again (pending outcome of match vs. M.East). In the semifinal matches Farragut outlasted a tough Karns team 3-2, and Maryville routed Clinton 3-0. Last week, Maryville stopped Farragut's 70-game District winning streak by beating the Admirals in the District 4AAA Final 3 games to 1. It had been 5 years since Farragut had lost a district match. Good luck Rebels and Admirals in sectional games on Thursday.

Lady Rebels fight off tough Lady Mavericks. Senior MB Sarah Roberts leads Maryville. Sophomores continue to improve for Lady Rebels. Every player on the roster saw action. First of 5 matches this week for Lady Rebels.

The Maryville Lady Red Rebels fell a little short in their bid to reach the state tournament as the SS Lady Rebels won 3-0. Look out for Maryville in the future. They lose only 2 seniors, and have a strong nucleus returning. Congrats on a great year, ladies!
