Good upcoming Junior class) As usuals: Grace( Good potential and great coach), Unaka( Possibly could be good great size. 1. Hampton 2. I'll never get to put the pads on again, next year will be my first year not playin. I guess I'm a has been or never was. But isnt it a beautiful process. 4 years of ball made high school fun. Now all I have are the memories the bad shoulders and the scars. It was worth every moment of it. Im gonna miss the 3 a days, the clank clank sound of the weight room, the hot practices, the lights, the smells, the sounds, the blood, the sweat, the smell of fresh cut grass. Its the little things im gonna miss like waking up on Saturday morning so sore you can't mowe the grass but having that ohh so sweet feeling of ending that losing streak, The game days when you can't concentrate on your school work or your girlfriend cause all you can think about is whether that backer is gonna blitz that night or not. its the pre game meals your too nervous to eat, its walkin outta that locker room and lookin at the practice field and knowin thats where games are really won. It's the 5'8 130lb dt beating the 6'6 300lb college prospect ot because the dt has a litle more fire that night, Its that bad calls, the good calls, The homecoming queens, the hopes and dreamns of goin 15-0. It's the freshman that get to come into the games that get knocked down but never quit, Its the 4 hour away trips and how they always seem shoret after a win. It's that equipment you don't wash until the last practice of the season cause it's bad luck, Its looking up in the stands and knowing even though your having a bad year and crowd numbers are slim that mamaw's still up there yelling loud as ever, its the beast thing that God has ever created and so the process goes on dont ever forget them friday night lights boys. To all seniors who will never get to pop the pads again rememebr stay low, and block till the whistle blows. AND ON THE 8TH DAY GOD CREATED HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

East TN is mostly mountains. Mountain football is run run run Even in Eastern Kentucky therefore run run run run, The only team I know of that really relies on the pass In the mountains of KY is Williamsburg. I really dont know of that many teams that love to fly the friendly skies in East Tn some do however mix it up quite a lot but the majority is run run run. I say give them lineman some collar greens and cornbread and let em run. Serioudly though mountain football is and always will be run till you stop me.

Come on Hampton. You didnt let yellow jackets sting you last week and open up a can of raid friday. Support 1-1A were proud. I think that when you guys run out on the field they should play mountain music by alabama. Show them that you guys are gonna give em a mountain style whooping. Please Cats beat Maryville I know no one believes in you all but I do. I am so tired of seeing Maryville in Murfreesboro. I think that you all will see a totally different Central team Friday Night. These boys are tired of getting pushed around. Get em cats from some of your old freinds at camp.

But I dont think they can outplay Horny or Winchester. This games gonna leave bruises on both teams. Heck maybe even the fans. Friday Night Warfare I love it.

The Jellico Blue Devils

Whether its the side of Roane Mtn? Or going to Coalfield to deal with the crazys? Or going to the "log cabin" visitor locker room of Oneida? Or could it be that wide open space at Sunbright? Or up on the creek on Goddard Field where Carl's roost overlooks? Or could it be at Bill Humphrey Stadium in Jellico where you can hear the rumble of traffic from 75? Or could it be the harsh fans screaming at Cosby? Or climbing that Morgan County mountain on your way to Oakdale? Or could it be in Roane County at Midway and hear that great announcer? These are just some of the great things that make up our sport. 1A may be small but you'll still find as much tradition on any given Friday night in the fall on these isolated farmtowns that time forgot than the bright streets of Knox Central Or Oak Ridge. These are just some of the things that makes single A football great to watch.
