  1. I find it kind of interesting that " we all know that Wilson Central will be the school to contend with" but you don't know that MJ returns 4 Sr starters? So here we go, a dogfight every night in 9AAA, - MJ, Smyrna, and WC will welcome any and all to the party. I do think LaVergne will surprise. MJ has a nice stretch coming up from Nov 27 to Dec 4 (Shelbyville, Franklin, Smyrna) that should be a good barometer for the Lady Bears I saw MJ play Hume-Fogg last night (92-17) and the Lady Bear run and gun is even faster this year...watch especially for Chelsea Brown (So) impact
  2. Does anyone have today's game times?
  3. Okay all you pros out there...early prognosis of the match-ups? I like Region 6 to take three out of four first round!
  4. Wow, just landed and congrats to Clarksville . Must be some kind of back story here...need some details! Congrats Cville... Go Bears!
  5. Man, stuck in an airport again (NYC) but have no fear the Bears will prevail! I heard that 1,100 students were at the 'cool schools' rally at 4 am this morning...wow! Go to the game folks and cheer the Bears to Victory. I have made my prediction already but here is how the Bears will do it: Balanced O that will find a way to score...a underated D that will shut down Clarksville and the SpecT's will score.... And nobody will tell me who/how they are going to stop the Bears! Play hard and good health to all! Go Bears! n
  6. Had they forgotten you think? MJ is a much better team than last year, and these SR's are on a mission.... Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Here's a flash back for you...10-6 /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. C'mon now, I was even being a bit conservative...MJ has a +/- scoring within Region of 131 (26.2 per game); CHS has a +73 (14.6 per game). I did not want to predict a win of 11.6 (after all this one is in Clarksville) /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> It will be a great game, and the MJ faithful will travel. Health and Hard Play to all! Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  9. Way to go Bears! Overcame penalties and a bit of rust and folks in new positions for a great victory (just win, baby!) Overheard some Beech fans on the way out commenting "they were killing us with the pass at the end of the 1st half, then ran it hard on us in the 2nd." Thats it in a nutshell, Bears can get you both ways. Go Bears, win the Region next week! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Next stop on the hit parade....CHS! The Bears are coming to town and who are you going to stop? Bears have the best balance in the Region (BigShuMan - you made a post about this topic a while back) and have added the solid kicking game they needed to make it more complete. Bears by 10
  11. Bears all alone in first place in the Region! Don't take anybody for granted, though..stay focused on each game at hand. That being said, I see the Bear's O return with a vengance this week...just seeing Coach Perry's comments after the Kenwood game "I am disappointed in our Offense...." looks sort of like code to me for practice this week! Bears by 14 at home. Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. Really sorry I missed the Kenwood game, but liked the reports I have read. Knight fans, do y'all have a kicking game, or is it typical of the coaching staff to go for the TD... Needless to say, I think we see Kenwood winning a close one at home...partly because of what I keep reading about Clarksville focus on the field (penalties, penalties) I don't know if the flags are due to aggressive play or just not paying attention. The Knights will make 'em pay if it is the latter. Good play and health!
  13. The Mighty Kitties in a close one, it is a MJ kind of year!
  14. Mt Juliet 3 - Kenwood 0 And there you have it...can't wait to hear the rest of the story! Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Man I am closing in on Nashville...land in an hour, maybe I'll make it to Q4. Both teams play hard, stay healthy. Go Bears!!!
  16. Sorry folks, been on the road awhile (still there) and -drat- will miss this game....But, in reviewing all the friendly chit chat ( a little too friendly /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ) NOBODY is answering what I posed above??? You can't stop all of them, and Coach Perry's game plan. Don't pontificate, tell me how you going to stop THE BEARS! Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Kind of interesting reading the reports of last night's games...looks like Kenwood does not give very many props to you Clarksville fans! Knights are MJ all the time! Bears to burst their bubble!
  18. Bears by 10. Kenwood has a great record, and this should be a solid game. Coach Perry (I understand from reports) started subbing in the 2nd Qtr (Rossview game)...played 3 QB's including a Freshman. Setting up the future already, love it! This fella knows how to win. What do we expect from the Knights for this one?
  19. I guess I am going to go back to the Bear's O one more time...who are y'all game planning to stop? 7 different Bears scored a TD tonight (out of 8 TD's)...4 out of 5 against Lebanon...the beat goes on! Over 500 yds of O (395 on the ground) and another 2 interceptions for the D (have to mention them) What's your plan? Enlighten me! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Go Bears ! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  20. Yep - good win for CHS also - NW had 5 fumbles? Anyway, gloves come off for week 7 don't ya know. Everybody stay healthy!
  21. Hmmm, am I a prophet? Bears a fluke? According to Coach T scoreboard: MJ 56 Rossview 18 Anybody have the CHS/CNW score? Kenwood popped Portland Beech 14 Springfield 0 Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  22. I am usually more measured in my response but could not resist mysef /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Really, seriously, you are saying Bears expectation of winning the Region is unrealistic? Talk about bulletin board material...! Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> All teams tonight play hard, be safe!!
  23. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Go Bears! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
