  3. The 3rd Annual West Tn Coaches Association Tournament (Still part of the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association, just that this tournament is in West Tn) will be played on March 30-31 in Lexington, Tn. We are planning on doing the same format as last year with teams being able to play early Friday because of Good Friday, most playing all three pools games that day, so that teams won't have to be there late on Saturday night. We got done last year before dark. Great tournament that has donated 8 $500 scholarships the last two years. If you have any questions you can contact Coach Ronnie Burke at 731-695-0933 or burke.ronnie@hcschoolstn.org. Thanks and hope everybody has a great year!

  7. Hello everybody! The Sarah Beth Whitehead Tournament that has been at the Jackson Sportsplex for the last 9 years will still be played this year. The new location will be in Lexington. The Jackson Sportsplex has decided to turn 2 of the softball fields into baseball fields so they no longer have enough fields to host this great tournament. We will still be shooting for 28 teams as we have done in the past as well as a few more wrinkles that have not been done in the past. The dates will still be opening weekend, March 15-17. We will have all the information out this Friday so everybody can get signed up. John and Tresa hope that all the teams that have supported this wonderful cause in the past will keep supporting it and any new teams will be more than welcome. Thanks and talk with you soon!

  11. It was a really good, long day of softball overall. Kentucky edged out Tennessee in the best 2 out of 3 match.Kentucky won the first game 5-3. Tennessee won the second game 2-1 and then Kentucky won the third game 3-2 in the second inning of International tie breaker. This was the closest matched teams I have seen since we started it 5 years ago.

  15. The Tennessee Softball Coaches Association would like to announce the year end awards as follows from all their member schools for the 2016-2017 school year. We have had an outstanding year and hope to only keep growing so we can keep getting these girls the recognition they deserve. There were many deserving girls that were nominated across the state with many having unbelievable stats and seasons. This is what we narrowed it down to. Thanks to all the members that turned in the nominations so that we could make this happen. Very much appreciated!
