covington will be good no dout but so will crockett and dyersburg. all three squads are in the playoffs every year... but if you go bye the smack talking on here byu crocketts player and fans then they are a shoe in folowed by covington,,, talk is good but until you beat the best in your region you are still onley second best and third best i believe the region was dyersburg #1 covingtyon#2 crockett#3 haywood#4 this is a great region and on any given night any team that lines up can be beat ask dyersburg 1rst round by 4rth place team, covington getting beat by obion not nocking obion they have alot of tallent but covington had trouble with dyercounty as well... crockett lost to dyersburg by 21 and that was cause the dogs was called off in the third quater...and covington beat crockett twice last year so every one wants to do great butt the talking is done on the field not on coach t TO BE THE BEST YOU MUST FIRST BEAT THE BEST

dyersburg and covington are better coached one of them will win the region... any team that relies on the wing t is lacking in offense. when you have got to use trickery to try to score its not a powerhouse offiense and dyersburg and covington have great d-fence who can read the wing t .... all you have to do to beat crockett is THROW THE BALL,,, AND STOP THE RUN,,,crockett cant throw the ball very well

my blood runs orange but you have to give credit were it is due i think oc is a good fourth place team but talent or no talet dyersburg still won the region last year and to do that and go undefeated they were doing somthing right. you might ask mg but i do believe dyersburg has one the region they have played in like 4 times in the last ten years whats oc record with region titles

thompson is the most seasond coach as far as playoffs in region six (in my opinion) and everyone has their own.. thompson will have fw ready Rome wasnt built in a day and it takes evry good coach a little time to get his guys beliving in him and in thier selfs.... look at knox catholic it took there coach 3 years, it took counce 3 years at dyerburg, but keep in mind thompson knows the game and has been sucessful and has talent to work with in fw... probably more tallent than the rest of the region

well mg it looks like there is a guru who knows more about dyersburg than you lol im very impressed though.... you two sure know dyersburg. as an out sider looking in i didnt think they were that fast but the other school in the same county sure thinks that because thats all the talk going around.. would you rank the line that dyersburg has comming this year in the same class with the line of the late 90's that was a strong point in dyersburgs teams..... the youth on defense last season was impressive as well.. how will the d line look next year... and in my earlier post i mentioned oc being shaky they are a great team i was talking about all the changes that was being made the qb at obion is a possiable all state pick.... tedalton at dyersburg is very impressive on the weights i had a chance to see him at the covington invatational weight meet.... i believe ripley will suprise alot of people this season. what about the changes at dyer county with baker leaving and going to crockett and armstrong hanging up the wistle for a admin job how do you think they will be next season.... i like the way you picked not a bad move or better put as a wise choice

i agree i think mcNairy will be 3rd my pick are 1 fayett ware 2 liberty 3 mcNairy 4 lexington two lexinton coach's have mad mention off not being very good this year but i believe they will be a fourth place team south side may be able to compeat with them, chester may as well,,,, everyone better look out for fayett ware im not a tim thompson fan but he is a great coach look at what he did at melrose.ENOUGH SAID fayett ware has memphis class athleats as well

i believe your right..... looking through the seniors that left obion looks great and so does dyersburg dyersburg has key players returning so does crockett... covington will be young this year.. look out for riply also.. they have some great linemen who will return.. i believe dyercounty will be week again this year the one man show up there is great but not able to win enought on his own to make the playoffs so your a dyersburg guru tell us about beasly, elam, tedalton,taylor,caldwell,, i herd taylor runs a 4.3 and caldwell runs a 4.4 is it true... the word at memphis is thet tedaltons hight is his only down fall 6'1 260 runs a 4.6 benchs 375 and cleangs 345 quiet an athleat id say,,,, are the facts on tedalton correct

i believe you have the four teams correct but not in the right order 1 dyersburg 2 crocket co 3 covington 4, haywood obion is a solid team also, but there is alot of problems there i herd that the majority of their coaches interviewed for new jobs and one went to dyer county.crocket and dyersburg are loaded with returning starters it will be interesting when they play,,, the word is that dyersburgs qb ran a 4.3 at the memphis combine and there tailback ran a 4.42 that will be a fast pair,,, but the word is that shawn and ron look good as well did shawn realy gain 15 pounds of muscle this winter,,, both teams are loaded it will be interesting,,,,, but if i was a betting man i would bett crocket wont let dyersburg air it out on them this year

your wasting your time MG. most of the veiwers on here are highschool kids who wanna talk smack. any team in the state would love to go undefeated and be region champs. that has been accomplished 3 or 4 times since counce has been in dyersburg. this team this season is being compared to the late 90's teams with the speed and strenghth.i do believe those team won the region and advanced to the simies and the quarters. correct me if im wrong mg im just a fan you know the team. winning the region in region 7 no mater what class your in is a big accomplishment. look at 7aa milan, huntingdon,westview,gibson...... so let everyone talk junk but dyersburg beat crockett by 21 pointsand beat covington who beat crockett twice.... so talk the smack and we will see come football time.....

So is it true that the qb runs a 4.35 --40 andthe caldwell kidruns a 4.45 --- 40. i herd that rashad broke his hand. and a freshman was running the offince in the spring how did he look? i saw him play a fresman game last yea against dyer county and boy he's the real deal

i agree region 5 have great players!!!!! i give them there props. but look at the number of schools they have to choose from. the population is greater in region 5 than it is in 7 as a hole. region 7 has coaches who turn average kids into players.

what about fulton loosing their coach thats the biggest loss alco lost their coach knox catholic had a cenderella season they were a great team last year but they lost alot as well go chargers,go trojans, go tomcats,one of the three will be in the semie this year
