  1. Just be glad you did not have to go to Unicoi then....
  2. Hey, at least the score last friday was closer than tonights.
  3. Good Game. Close. Lots of good Hits. Tyler Leonard made an awesome hit. The guy he hit will be seeing little birdies this weekend.
  4. Hey go to Elizabethton and get one at Wally World... should not be over 10.00
  5. Good Luck Dawgs.... Does Coalfield Orange look closer to yellow than Orange.... Just a question.....
  6. Hey I'm pulling for the Dawgs too, but don't count the game in the win column before it is played. Like I read on another post, "on any given Night, any team can be beaten." Dawgs you take care of business..... you win.... No one is this far in the post season with out having a relatively good team.... Don't sell anyone short.... Good Luck Bulldogs..... I'll be there but I will wear my Maroon....
  7. "As far as the Caldwell boy goes, yea he has thrown INT's and quite a few of them, but he does what he is told to do and if you people had any idea of what he goes through tryin to help his team win every friday night i know you people would leave him alone. Yes Will Lowe and Ryan Garland are two very athletic young men and they can run the football very well. All I am askin is you leave Caldwell out of the reason they have lost the games. How many of the INT's he has thrown have been tipped up or should have been caught by his recievers? Every one is a critic when you read the paper and see INT but if you were actually at the game and saw the picks you would see that it's not all his fault. " All that I meant was win or loose it is the team and the coaches TOGETHER. No one person is the main reason. In every game there is the opportunity for mistakes, but the win or the loss belongs to the team, not the individual. As an answer to the above.
  8. Alot of us have not reached 18 as of yet and alot wont see it again. But as far as wins and losses go, A team is a team. You win as a Team and you Loose as a team. If your first string, third, or a coach, You are a team. Everyone either stresses the loss or bask in the glory. No one is exempt from it. Everyone has to claim their part. Yes, I know first string or key postitions always bear the brunt of the abuse and "trash talking", but as you say they do their best and they do as they are told. Yes everyone is a critic and a saturday morning what if guy, but I have never seen a player go out and blow a game on purpose for their team. What ever team you pull for, no matter the level of play, these guys will go out and give all they have for their brothers on the TEAM..... be it Happy Valley, Unicoi, Elizabethton, Hampton , Johnson County, or Cloudland. As we players are taught, There is no I in TEAM....
  9. ... I'm not surprised. I have been to many games against Happy Valley. It starts in the younger girls and it is not corrected then. I have seen it happen most at the middle school level. They are rude and make fun of everyone they go against. Manners as you can believe are taught at home and since you had problems with parent we can understand where it is learnt. Please believe me when I say not all squads in the area are so rude and uppity.
