I have quit the team, like the other 75% of the team that had played before Euvarard came to Jeff County. What had happened to Oakland's roster before Euvarard left? Come down to Jeff County School and ask students/football players how they feel about Marty. I guess Coach Meadows can't coach, he took us to to the playoffs year after year after year. If Jeff County is full of spoiled brats, then maybe we need a coach to coach spoiled brats. Any coach that tells a player that he makes him want to vomit, and his parents should be ashamed to call him their son should not even be given the oppurtunity to coach. He was GREAT in Oakland. He is HORRIBLE in Jeff County. patriotposse98, did you play for the Jefferson County High School Football Patriots, didn't think so. And every one calling me names, you might as well send letters to the other 50 varsity players that quit, and you all are the real cowards calling a teenager names over the internet, you can find me at Jeff County School every school day. Be real men and say it to my face.

Euvarard inherited the championship team and after a while all of the players started quiting and the roster became very small, and Marty left Oakland or got fired. I might be a loser, but he is making all of my peers losers, and if he's stays here, there will be no victories to come. You can be the hardest working team in the world, but if you don't have a good coach, and all of the talent has quit, then you don't have a shot at winning a championship. You don't know how Marty conducts himself with his players and he one on one, all you hear is lies from players saying what a good coach he is. Football is supposed to be fun, and it can't be with a coach like Marty Euvarard

CoachT.com is full of Marty Euvarard suppourters, but guess what, NONE OF THEM PLAY FOR THE JEFFERSON COUNTY PATRIOTS. He might want to see if Oakland will hire him back, because their are nothing but losing seasons to come for the Patriots if Mr. Euvarard is calling plays. I don't understand why any one would want him to stay, we are losing games, and most of our players, including myself. Unless the parents and suppourters put pads and a helmet on and go out their and play, then you can't comment on him as a coach. There are alot of great men on this earth, but they aren't all good coaches. There will be no turn around, Mr. Euvarard has turned Jeff County's football program into Cocke County. New Coach = More Players = More Depth = More Victories.

People may have bashed Meadows. but the players didn't start a petition trying to fire Meadows did they. I think that Meadows made it to the playoffs almost every year, and Coach U Year 1: Didn't make the playoffs Year 2: 2-5, and all the players and parents want him fired. Meadows didn't go year round and... PLAYOFFS IN JEFF CO. Nice Star Trek reference, haven't heard that one before.

RaznCain, I believe you are the cluless one. I played a one season, and I played football to have fun, and playing for Coach U wasn't fun. This is HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL, not college football or NFL, but Coach U works us year round and thats why we're not winning because all of the players are exhausted at the start of the season. On Coach U being a "good man", One day in work outs he pointed out a young man by the name of Michael Snap, and Coach U had him stand up in front of the whole team saying he was an embarrasment to the team and his mother and father should be ashamed to have him as a son because he was so fat and don't tell me that isn't true because I sat there and listened to it and so did the team or I should say former team. How do you maintain respect for a person when they say something like that to one of your peers. I'm not laying on my butt, I have a job and I play basketball. I wonder if you have ever played for Coach U, and sure he may be a great guy away from football, but he's not the best man for the JCHS football job. The only reason Coach U is still coaching JCHS is because the AD Kisabeth and him are really close friends. How can you make such a stupid statement when you are blind to what is going on in Dandridge, Tennessee?

I was a former player on the Jefferson County Football team, and Coach Euverard is the worst coach I have ever played for. In 1998 he won a state championship with Oakland, but what has he done for Jefferson County? Last season we didn't make the playoffs, and this year everyone is quiting or getting kicked off and we have a 2-5 record. I can state as a fact that not more than 5 players on the team like the coach. I know it's not important for the players to like the coach, the players dislike the coach so much to the point of quiting the football team. The only reason Jeff. Co. football is so "soft" is because all the real football players left. The only players that are left on the football team is the ones that are afraid of Coach Euvarard or their parents wouldn't let them quit. Kisabeth must be a 49ers fan because if Coach Euvarard stays around their will be a lot of losing seasons to come in Dandridge.
