I see Moore County and Richland in the district Finals. I think Richland wins the tourney. In the region I still say Collinwood and Summertown get out. If this happens then either if these teams could (notice I said could I do not think they will) go to Forrest and win. However if Richland get's out I do not think they can go to Forrest and beat them. Now with all that being said never overlook Wayne County and coach Bird. If I was a coach he is the last man I would want to see on the other bench in an elimination game. BTW I am totally unbias my Queens lost in the first round of the district therefore I am just a fan that loves this time of year.

My beloved Queens had a huge win Tuesday night over Van Buren and secured 4th place in the standings and assured themselves a home game against Eagleville in the first round of the tourney. I hope the Queens can make a decent showing tonight against Forrest and keep the momentum going into the post season. I have seen what the Queens could do twice this year. They showed up and played against Giles County early and then they showed back up Tuesday night. I hope the real Queens stay around for a while and make a run in the tournies.

The "N" word was not used and the parent never hit a player both of these alllegations are FALSE. The incident is over both teams have been handed down thier punishment lets all get on with the year. Go Vikings and good luck Cascade

I totally disagree with this post and I am sorry that Coacht has not locked this thread. The suspension of one child is within the team and the other you are speaking failed his classes is that the coaches fault?

No doubt it was a ugly night in Unionville. Tensions have been high for most of the season and you could almost feel that soemthing like this was going to happen on the floor or in the stands at some point this season. However the problem with the fight or any fight in a ballgame is when players leave thier benches or fans leave their seats. If no one comes off the bench or out of thier seats then the two players are ejected and we play. But fans come on the floor and players come as well you just have more of a mess with fights breaking out all over the place. It was a sad situation and I hate that it ever happened. Also I place no blame for a parent coming to the floor when a child is involved in soemthing like this, At first I thought they were wrong but then I put myself in their shoes and I could not see myself sitting there and watching my child getting piled on. The parents that came on the floor I believe were truly coming to break up the fight and in no way start more trouble..... It was a terrible night and I hope we can get this behind us and move on. I also wish Cascade all the luck in the world and that they too might move forward and get refocused...

I was there and I am not going to give any play by play but the story of the kid going outside and then back in and sitting is totally false. The fight broke out and fans and players left there bench. Once order was restored the game was suspended and both teams went to thier locker rooms

I was at the game and the fact is I did not care who won so I can give a non bias opinion. Of course the reffing was one-sided they were playing in Moore County were'nt they? Truth be told i did not see it it being THAT one-sided. What I saw was a frustrated team, coach and fans because M.C. was putting some major pressure on the ball at all times. BTW. Mr. Northcutt is one of the best officials in the state and he did not say that he was going to start making bad calls he said I am going to start throwing some folks out of here if they dont get off the refs. (I was sitting almost directly behind the scores table and heard every word.

I have not made a comment thus far but I will say that is as a bad of a half (first) that I have ever seen a Moore County team play. I was very impressed with Richland regaining there composure after losing the lead in the second half. I also want to say that I was impressed with Glidden she is a player and seems to be a class act

I think one on this list would have to be the Community Vikings. They have 7 wins this year already and that is one more than the entire year last year. On top of that they do not have a senior on the team and are starting an 8th grader, a freshman, 2 Sophomores and a junior

This coming Tuesday night the Raiderettes host Richland. I have my own predicitons but what does everyone else think? JamieRoper you are not allowed because we all know you will say Richland.

I have not been on here talking much about my queens because to be real honest they have not played real well at all. However going into the Bedford county classic they were 8 and 1 with an embarassing loss to Eagleville (not because it was Eagleville but because it was by 20 or so) Last night they once again played well enough to win and beat Watertown. Today they had to play a very athletic Giles County team who were much bigger and deeper than we are. However the Queens came out and played like I had hoped they would play all year and pulled out a 12 point victory over AA Giles County. They did not just sit back and wait on someone to shoot a three they actually ran an offense and got some nice easy baskets. Daffern and Thompson played very well and M.J., A.J and Small were major contributors. Don't look now but my beloved running gunning queens are 10 and 1.

I just wanted to give a compliment to coach Loveless at Richland. He is doing a great job and from what I have seen is a great coach. They beat Cascade and Community on consecutive nights and there pressure and play calling are going to be hard to beat.I am going to be at Moore County Tuesday night to watch them play a good MC team and it shoukd be a good one.

Pop, I am glad to hear that he is Ok. Atheletics are not near as important as the health and well being of our children. I wish him a speedy recovery and cant wait to see him jumping all over the court. Vegas

Natale is our other starter out. He was in a car accident and will be out a month.

The Vikings beat Mt Pleasant tonight without two of there starters. Edmonson, Dyer, White and Pierce did a great job tonight. Edmonson hit two or three big shots late and Stallings was the man with 28 tonight. Haynes also stepped up in the absence of Hull. Just a good all around effort and a nice win. I think it will be 1. Forrest 2. Cascade 3. Eagleville 4. Community 5. Van Buren 6. M.T.C.S 7. Boyd Christian I think our boys played a little rough last night but it shows how far we have come in a year. Last year if we play that bad against anyone we lose. We are going about 9 deep right now and although it is making some a little upset I will assure you it is going to be huge down the stretch and in the coming years for the Vikings. BTW that Natale kid can play some "D" A couple of big shots by Molder and D. White fianally found his stroke late in the game.

These are the two districts I know the most about and have seen most of them play. I think from what I have seen here is how they stand. 9A 1. Forrest- They have played a tough schedule and they are learning how it is to be the hunted. I think someone beats them this year in our district during the season. However in the end they will win the season and the tourney. 2. M.T.C.S.- I have not seen them but I saw where they beat Eagleville pretty well. I know that last year they were getting better and seemed to be well coached. 3. Eagleville- I really want to put my Queens here but we just took a licking from Eagleville and as of right now they are just better. 4. Community- our girls are not playing well right now and we seem to be way to dependant on the 3. To tell you the truth I am scared to death of the Cascade game on Friday night. However right now I put them here in hopes that we start playing better. 11A 1. Moore County- As usual I think they are the best team in the district. I know they lost at Santa Fe but they had a chance to win it with no time on the clock with thier best post player on the bench with an injury. They already have went to Forrest and won. Right now they are my number 1. 2. Santa Fe- Thier guards are only getting better. They are great at the post position and I am not sure if this is not the team to beat later in the season and the tournament. 3. Richland- I hear good things about this team. I know they beat Santa Fe and I know they are 8-0 but here is a point I must make they must beat Moore County. I think until they get over that hurdle they remain my number three. (And that is what it is MY number 3) 4. Cornersville- Great coach! I will tell you this you better stay out of thier bracket come tourney time. The guy knows how to plan to beat you. Right now they are at 4 but who knows how high they could climb. This is where I have them for know but as you all know it could change after Friday!!!
