  1. "!!!lol....in the past 5 years can you please name more then ONE game that the refs have been on greenevilles side??? "

ComexxOriginal, you have posted alot about Greeneville Basketball over the past five years. I'm guessing you know so much because that is how long you have been at Greeneville High. I know us Rednecks at little ole Sullivan Central are stupid, but even we know that you are only supposed to go to high school for four years. Get off CoachT and hit the books.

  2. Central has no one that can stop Crowder or Lauderback. The first two times that SHHS played you, they pounded the ball down low and Central had no one that could stop SHHS's post players. In the championship game, SHHS tried to play Central's game which would be shoot the three. That works for Central, but why should we play your game? All we had to do was pound it down low and we would get buchanon and Hess in foul trouble and there goes Central's chance of winning.

You should be on the bench with Coach Cutlip with that kind of strategy. There's only one problem, Crowder and Lauderback aren't as good as you say. They scored nine points between them, and I'm sure 6 of those points came off of rebounds, where they do have the height advantage. They couldn't get the ball because of the tenacious defense the cougars were playing that night. Big time players step it up for Big Time games. Crowder and Lauderback aren't big time. Do us all a favor and save your coaching strategies for the PlayStation.

LOL combo ..listen man..ive owned u everytime uve had somethin to say to me or about Greeneville....maybe you were at Greeneville High School gym which im not gonna lie..is not very big....its for pe classes....WE PRACTICE AND PLAY AT HAL HENARD and i GUARANTEE YOU ITS BIGGER THEN CENTRALS...its one of the biggest hs gyms in east tn...guess you'll just have to see when you come...your a such a dumb a## ....i guess it makes sense that The Ladies Classic ....a classic where teams come from everywhere to play...basically one of the biggest girl tournaments in the state is held there..oh and the boys land air is held there too...your so stupid ..get a freakin education..hal henard is huge...lol omg ur a moron

I dont know if you have ever been away from home. But central's DOME is way bigger than Hal Henard. So is Viking Hall, along with the Buck Van Huss Dome. Why do you keep arguing about gym size and other idiotic topics anyways. Let's just hope Sullivan Central and Greeneville both take care of their business and meet in the championship.

  4. Javaris Crittenton.... the number sixteen player in the nation. Omar threw his shot in the stands with the clock winding down, giving SHHS the win over Southwest Atlanta Christian. Science Hill may have lost some games to local teams, but they can also step up their game and hang with teams that have great players. Science Hill plays a transitional game, and it is effective against teams that play on a higher level. Teams here in the Big nine play on a slower level and teams that can shoot... like Central will beat Science Hill if SHHS tries to play their game with them. Science Hill can not beat Central just by shooting three pointers. They should have pounded it down low. Central has no height, and not players that could stop Crowder or Lauderback. Yes, Central was shooting the lights out of the gym, but there was no reason that SHHS should try to match that. No one on Cental's team could stop SHHS's post players. Their tallest player is six three or something. That is the height of our shortest post player. Pounding it down low would eventually get Hess and Buchanon is trouble, and there goes Central's hope of winning.

For one. if the Hill is as good as your fans boast they are, why couldn't they take over and make it a running game. And for two, Central did push it up the court. The shots weren't falling like they usually do. So we took it inside, and your post players couldnt do anything about it. Gabe had 26 and didnt make one three. Hess with 19 and not one three. And yea, we shot alot more free throws but thats because fouling us was the only thing Science Hill could do to try and stop us in the post. I still believe Science Hill is an awesome team, and I wish them the best of luck the rest of the way. But don't say that Central got lucky, because we outplayed SH in the biggest game of the year so far.

  5. Whats happened to the central starters? Weatherford started the season strong but something has really effected his game.

Phil is just one starter..... not the whole starting five.

Also, don't dog him because he hasnt been playing up to his potential. The whole team is to blame for the poor performance in the past couple games. And if something has effected his game its the pressure that everyone puts on him.

  6. The cougars aren't starting off the season how they would have liked to, But thats not to say they aren't a good team. Last years team started off 1-3, losing to some crappy teams. This year, Central has been in 3 difficult losses against three very good teams. In each of those losses the margin of victory for the opposing team was no more than 10 (to science hill because they were clutch in the last minutes). Also, the three's haven't been falling for us as they usually do. Playing these difficult teams will only make Central better. Once the Cougars mature and play the kind of ball they are capable of, other teams better watch out.

  7. I think it should be a great game. DB does have one of their weaker teams, but that doesn't mean they can't compete. It's been said before that any team in the big 9 can win on any given night. If Central doesn't come ready to play then it should be close. I know the Cougars are going to be fired up, though, since its their home opener at the Dickie Warren Dome.

    Central by 15.

  8. For starters, No one should be getting mad at Central for talking smack. I can assure you that it is none of the players. For the students from Central, there is nothing wrong with praising Central, but you shouldn't talk bad about other teams.

With that out of the way, I would like to say that it isn't the 2004-2005 season anymore. Talk shouldn't be focused on how much we will miss Beverly and Leonard. That's not even relevant. Comment all you like after you play us, but until then, dont hate....

  9. Science Hill is still the team to beat in the conference. They have the talent and the experience. South and Central will be in a battle for second place. South has size, but Central has the speed and explosive offense. Tennessee High could also be in the hunt for a 2nd or 3rd place finish. As for 5th through 7th, it could be D-B, Boone (seems to have a good outside game with some height inside), and Volunteer. Volunteer and Central are making the jump to AAA this year, which could possibly hinder their performance. East and Crockett will be fighting to stay out of last place.

    So to sum it up.....

    1 - Science Hill

    2 - South

    3 - Central

    4 - Tennessee

    5 - Boone

    6 - DB

    7 - Volunteer

    8 - East

    9 - Crockett

Should be an awesome year in East Tennessee.
