I dont think that the overton wrestlers arent aggressive enough. Being in region 6 i wrestled with them for 4 years and that is the most common thing out of all of them. I have to give mad props to Gabriel though.. Excellent coach and if given the athletes that the chatanooga area schools get then he would produce state champions too. Dont get me wrong overton wrestlers are tough ut if they dont step it up to the next level intensity wise then they will have truoble competing for medals come feb.And for the robes.....who cares what they wear. I am so sick of wrestling teams going out there with each wrestler wearing something different. Stick with the robes they are fine. We sound like a bunch of chicks commenting on fashion. bradley was not at the father ryan invitational...connell did wrestle catlett and would not beat him for that matter!

i got news for u....they arenot the only 2 wrestlers in that weight in region 6 to worry about.....jordan mitchell only lost to wipperman by one in overtime ....i think mitchell will win region 6 for sure

i see Joey Jeffers from east ridge giving catlett a run for his money. Jeffers has beaten some big names this year winning the mccallie beating connel in the semis. Does anyone know if jeffers and catlett have wrestled yet??

umm as i remember griffin wasnt in the shape for the state tourny and john dress pinned him to put him out. But he is a hard nose and wrestles a lot like myself. He is a good wrestler and i will look for him in the finals. Good Luck.

i agree that pound for pound john lane and raymond dunning are the best in the state. Some people on this site feel the need to be so negative. We will let their wrestling speak for itself come febuarary.
