  1. I think that 11AA is going to be a really tough region this year. I see a whole lot of talent in a lot of the teams. I think that once again SC will be a underdog team that will suprise a lot of people.

I have been waiting for the start of this season to start for a while. I know that not only the games are going to be heated, but so will the fans. Good Luck to all the 11AA teams out there and hopefully this season will not let any of us down...

  2. Darn Skinny you beat me to it i just got home from going out and was going to do this same thread but you beat me o well.

As for the score 60+ more for goodpasture and 7 for ezel.

I don't think that GoodPasture will win by that much, but i am going to have to go with GoodPasture by 21....

  3. David Keator from SC would have to be one of the best linebackers in 2A this season. He is averaging a little over 12 tpg. and is the vocal team leader for the rebels in the huddle. I think that Keator will win ALL-REGION again this year. I know there is plenty of other great linebackers in 2A, but some of which i don't think has had the best possible season this year. I believe Keator has thus far played with 110% all season. I am sure there are others, but that is why we have this topic... to see who all is out there.

  4. I have seen a little playing from Chad Jordan (Bruceton)and i would just about have to agree, but i got to give props to my boys in 2a just to put them out here. but if Derek Hill (5'10" running a 4.5 forty with 7TD's on the year) had a chance to preform like some of these other backs then i believe he would be on here, and the same of that for my other boy David Newman. :thumb:

ALWAYS REPRESENTING YOUR HOME BOYS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I am going with McKenzie in this one i believe they are a great team and will easily out match SF this week. I saw McKenzie in a scrimmage during the preseason and they looked great. I have followed them somewhat this year and from what i can tell they are still doing very well. McKenzie by 14..... :thumb:

  6. Friday night will be a pretty good game as long as SC's seniors comes to play knowing it will be one of their last games. If SC comes out and plays like they did against the lackluster cardinals last week they will get it handed to them again....but if they will come out with some intensity and refuse to give up i think they could make a game out of this. I am not 100% sure on who will win this one but i will say that if SC plays to there potential they will win (17 to 14) and if they don't they will lose (28 to 10). SC is one of those teams that always have those little break downs that end up costing them really big, and if they have those on Friday night then they will chalk up yet another lose in the lose column. :thumb:

  7. this game is goina be pretty good...not as good as i thought earlier this week after i saw camden play tonight....both teams will strugle on scorin, this will b a low scoring game...lewis co will bring a hard and strong defense and a decent offense....camden on the other hand will have the strong, quick, and tricky offense and a decent d....both teams have a shot at it, camden, i believe will win it....as long as lewis county can figure out camden's misdirection plays quickly then they should be alrite...thats wat really killd waverly tonight was the misdirection runs....will be good game..would like to head out and see if cuz loretto is a pretty good distance to see a game that wont be that good....

    Camden: 8

    Lewis Co: 7

I will have to agree with Redneck Tiger for a change, i think that camden is the better team this year and i think it will be a defensive show down unless LC can't stop camden's running game.

    I am going with CAMDEN

    Camden:14

    Lewis Co:10

  8. Use of an illegal player during first 5 games. They had to forfeit all of their wins. 0-5 going into Humboldt game tonite, 1-5 now.

I sure hated to see this for Milan seeing how they have played so well thus far. I think that they will finish off the season undefeated. SO OBVIOUSLY I WILL HAVE TO PICK THEM TO WIN.....

  9. Well i dont want to miss out on any of the fun either so here's my prediction

    Lewis County-34

    Waverly-12

I definetly don't think that this game will be that bad of a blowout. Waverly is a tough competitor this year... I am going with Lewis County in this one, but i don't think that it will be a blowout. Possibly a 28 to 21 game or maybe a 24 to 17 game.

I think that the only way waverly could ever pull off an upset or anything like that is if they shut down hatton and play extremely tough on defense otherwise than that look for lewis county to chalk up yet another win....

  10. Lewis

    Camden

    Richland

    Stewart Co

    Perry Co

I am going all the way with Captainhook7k on this one.

    Lewis CO.

    Camden

    Richland

    Stewart CO.

    and Perry CO.

I think that people would be crazy if they don't attend either the SC@HC game or the LC and Waverly game. It looks as if we could have an exciting week in 6-2A

  11. I am going to have to go with SC on this one... No one cares about the standings right now its just that these two long time rivals are going to be on the field tonight @ 7:00 and it will be a great game!!!! I wouldn't not miss it, I love being in a tense athmosphere because thats when it doesn't matter how much trash you talk, the better team will win. Good Luck to both teams tonight as they once again square off for another years worth of bragging rights...

    SC-21

    HC-17

  12. This is a huge matchup for stewart county. LC has dominated there district, and SC has to bring there "A" Game to be able to play with these guys. Chris Hatton is a major threat for LC, but he has been a little fumble happy thus far this season the All State FullBack has 5 fumbles in two games. SC has a couple of threats this year also a 1st string defense that has posted 2 shutouts in two games and a good wide reciever and running back in Adam Bagwell and Derek Hill.

Game time 7:00 on Friday @ SC This will be a great game i can guarantee it.... :D

  13. I know 2A isn't all that big,but an impressive Stewart County Team seems to have one of the best D-Lines in 2A. It is a little early to make some calls like this, but through two games already this year SC's 1st D-line has two shut outs. their second string team gave up one last friday though making them to have outscored their opponents 69 to 8 (32to0 & 37to8)

    :D

  14. Watch out for Sycamore to make some noise in the region! Congrats to Bull, Austin, Jesse, and Big John for their awards. If the Rowdy Rebs didn't get out of control last night there would have been a massacre.

Congratulations to bullard,Lohin,Moulton, and john for there awards. Moulton played outstanding in the championship game. I think that if it would not have been for him it would have been a blow out. He shot some really clutch three pointers in the third and fourth.

    :thumb:

  15. I just want to know who that fat kid was in the front of the Sycamore cheering section wearing the Rowdy Rebels shirt. I have no clue what the cheerleaders and the fans were doing jumping up and down last night at the end of the girls game but when the fat kid starting jumping up and down I nearly fell out onto the court I was laughing so hard.

    :thumb::lol::lol::lol:

I will give the Rowdy Rebels this and that is that they cheer no matter what the situation is. They were down by 19 to start the fourth against Cheatham Co. last night and you would have thought that it was a two point game. I will say that the Cubs fans did get the last laugh against Stewart Co. after they beat 'em by 20. When Coker threw it down and then packed #42's lunch on back-to-back shot attempts the momentum of the game clearly swung in the favor of the Cubs.

I have to give it to the rowdy rebs also they show more enthusiasm than any other fan section in the entire district. When they were down they cheered just as they would if they were winning. Those guys really have there rebel pride!!!!!

  16. HAHA Waverly having an MVP candidate this year?! That is hilarious....DJ Reid scoring 16 points a game is pretty good, but what about Jesse Moulton's 20 plus points a game? Oh, did I mention that his team are the regular season district champs? Jake West is a good choice, but an MVP caliber player should show up in the big games. By what I hear, West was nonexistent in both Harpeth games. So the leg up would have to go to Mr. Jesse Moulton. But as many of you already know he and sycamore are highly overrated and very lucky. They'll be lucky to even keep it close to mont cent. so maybe Cody Dunn should get it since they have the game in the bag. :thumb:

It doesn't matter if west was none exsisting in the harpeth games or not he still averages more per game than moulton ever thought about. West might not win MVP, but he sure won't be beat by jesse Moulton

  17. its either west or moulton and since shs won the district i say moulton.

I will agree that moulton has an opportunity to take the honors, but honestly i don't see it happening i believe that West will take the award.

CONGRATS TO SYCAMORE for having the #1 seed

CONGRATS TO "WEST" FOR HIS 1000 POINTS!!!
